  • Poor piston.
  • Comes with a 2-valve reed-valve, but takes a 4-valve Honda reed-valve with a simple riser & Honda intake.
  • Derbi Reed valves fit with angle spacer and a 15mm paralel spacer
  • If installed right out of box ports will be blocked by piston, To correct a spacer will need to be made + deck cylinder or make a countersunk head to fix squish (port timings will be around Transfer 131 degree, Exhaust 190 degree. good for turning 10k rpm!)

Airsal 72cc (46mm)

New Airsal cylinder. Biggest displacement you can fit on a Puch without modifying the crank-case.

Cil55-resize.jpg Cil56-resize.jpg

Pros:

+ Big displacement without modifying crank-case
+ Comes with HC head

  • Minarelli AM6 (Aprilia, Rieju, newer Derbi's etc.) reed-valve fits without modification.
  • A lot of people say that you have to replace the piston with a Metrakit or Airsal piston, because the original piston isn't suitable for right-turning engines because of the off-center piston-pin.
  • Angled exhaust port.
  • Crank-case needs mod-work to fit cylinder.

Metrakit 75cc (47mm)

Cil68-resize.jpg Cil69-resize.jpg Cil70-resize.jpg

  • Click to view port map

Special points of interest:
