Some minor/new additions to this procedure:

   They will compare your amount you paid for the bike to NADA used motorcycle guide pricing and if NADA guide is more than what you paid they will send it all back to you asking for a new check with re-figured tax amount.
    If all is well you will receive your plate and temp  registration ( actually a stamped copy of your application) in about 10 days. About 2 weeks later you will receive an expiration sticker for the plate and your permanent registration.
    I have done this on 3 bikes in late 2018 and early 2019 and had one sent back because they wanted some more tax $$ because NADA value was more than I paid for bike. I sent it in with a bigger check and it was fine from there.
