Hercules is a german motorcycle producer founded in 1886 by Carl Marschuetz in Nuremberg. Famous for their moped production they took over the company Zweirad-Union which was a production union of Express, DKW and Victoria. Hercules always used Fichtel & Sachs engines for their mopeds. Besides the moped production a milestone was the development and production of the worlds first Wankel engine motorbike. In export markets Hercules often used the label DKW or Sachs.
