- 1978 Puch Maxi
well... got one of those too good to pass up deals on a old Puch that barely ran, and looking for parts n such to fix it and do a complete restoration on it.
i was a ASE certified auto mechanic, and for the last 9-10 months, been working at a Honda/Kawasaki dealership as a sales mechanic..... finally.... a dream job!
i am a die hard biker, in my earlier years i was never without a dirt bike, had one too many crashes and retired my dirt gear, bought a streetbike, a 1998 Honda CBR 600F3, put 10,000 miles on it in 6 months, traded it in on a 2000 Suzuki GSX-R750, put some miles on it, and currently own a 1995 Honda CBR900RR throwing down about 140 rear wheel horsepower (can you say 3rd gear wheelies at 100 mph?) terrorize the asphalt every chance i get. nothing like taking an interstate ramp at 120 mph with your foot scraping the pavement, and your knee 2" off the road.
