I am a retired auto mechanic. So, I keep busy continuing to refine my collection of one of each color QTs that were imported to the USA. It took almost two years and 2,100 miles of driving to bring them all to my garage. A considerable amount of time, effort and $$ have been invested in them to make them all safely drivable. I have rebuilt the engines in three of them, gone thru the electrical, fuel, brake, tire and trim systems in all of them. None have been repainted, but some repro decals have been added to make them appear as when sold new. The yellow one has a little more than 500 miles on it, the blue and red ones have over 4400 miles each, and the black one has a little over 700 miles on it. The yellow one is in the best condition of all of them and the blue one is the ugliest as it was a parts junker that I fixed for the challenge of doing it, leaving the rusty patina alone, but making it dependable and safe. Also in the collection is another blue QT with some custom paint, mainly because there are so many blue ones out there it won't matter if I make one a little different and another yellow one that needed extensive work. I also have 2 real mopeds for projects. A 1978 Solo Odyssey in rusty yellow, and a 1977 Solo Odyssey in rusty yellow (both water-cooled Laura M48 engines)
