Good news worked overnight and got it unseized. Seems like the entire bike was submerged in water. Has good compression now but no spark. The flywheel looks horrible I’m thinking that’s the issue.
Actually I do know people in MD. I’ll look into that ASAP thanks
That’s what I was afraid of
Thanks my brother, I definitely won’t quit. I’ll post when I get it running god willing
Thanks. It’s funny because everything else is a mess but the gas tank seems solid with some rust inside and the carb was pretty clean in comparison to the rest of the bike. I’m working on unseizing the motor today. I feel like all the bolts are gonna break off when I turn them smh.
You may be rite on that one but we will see. I’ll post when I get it started lol

I have a moped without title. Bought it with bill of sale only. I’m in NJ. I see a few good deals also I’m looking to purchase but I’m afraid without title.
Send me a link for that carb. How much are they?
No the bike moped was complete. I took the pic when I had already started taking it apart. Did get it running but this carb is a piece of crap. That’s all I need at this time. Any link on a decent Carb???
Picked up a 82 Motobecane V50 yesterday thinking it was gonna be a piece of cake to get started and was sadly mistaken. Seems to have compression but I’m not sure how to check compression. Can’t really tell if it has spark or not. Don’t know what position is which on the gas lever or the kill switch. Positive is I took the carb apart today and cleaned it out.I’m totally lost and any assistance wou
Where are you located? I’m in NJ. I’ll travel some but nothing crazy.
