Start with 55 and if it bogs try one lower. Do a plug chop.
I'll wait for 1977. Any idea on the prices? I hope they order TONS of them because they are going to fly off the shelves.
Yes, always upjet when you do anything to get more performance.
I've been trying to look for a cdi for my 2 speed but all I found was a $200 one at 50cc.nl. Is there anywhere else that sells them?
take it off and throw it away
how about you do a damn search. Everything has been covered hundreds of times.
I was told there is a guide somewhere to walk you through replacing a 2 speed clutch. Can anyone verify this with a link?
and run to lean and seize, this has been covered many times. Leave it stock.
Very strange crazy, thats the stock jet size right?
so...you just told one of the best motobecane tuners to "learn your crap before you go talkin"...nice move dipshit
the 62 jet seems a bit big, is it bogging and killing your acceleration?
that shut up was directed at that guy, not chris.
just start out with plug chops a then upgrade
Just curious chris, how fast can those rs50's go?
Yea but you have to remember that the fan running on the magneto will keep the cylinder cool. I don't think you would have to worry about that. With the fan and that giant head you should be running pretty damn cool.
swap for dirtbike or motorcycle engine
that may be a bit high. order each one from 53-60
Would you really suggest the biturbo over a technigas? I've never owned one but I hear they have a much better power band and biturbo is all top speed.
that looks sick but that mounting bracket doesnt fit with the variators
First drill a few holes in the airbox, its a free upgrade. If that isnt enough a pipe would be the best bang for the buck.
I think youngdino may be right, but i don't have the cold hard info to back myself up.
it would pretty much be even with just a 70cc kit. That price is a rip off though
Nick there is already a lot of great info on this site. Use the search feature, it was save you a lot of snooty replies
My setup is techno hunter (not known to be the best for top speed), dellorto sha 15, high flow air filter, and 15mm trac intake. I think im running a 58 jet and my top speed would be 38-40mph. With only a speed kit you could get like 43ish and with a better pipe for top end you could easily get 45. With that setup your engine would be screaming and a cdi would make it run much much smoother at hig
