hi,i believe i have a jawa x20 its been sitting for a couple of years since last started, basicly i noticed a few things1. the side clutch cover ? does not rotate when i peddle im not sure if should ?2. i took out the spark plug to check for spark and it doesnt seem to have any , im not sure if i did it correctly maybe you can guide me how?3. one of the 2 bulbs in the tail light is blown i know

well i got it on just now, i just took a match and held it on the tube for a few seconds and i was able to get it on.

hi,well i was taking off the carb. when i removed the oil injection tube it ripped off, and small piece of tubing remained on the nipple. i got the small piece off the nipple but now im trying re connect the remaining tube but it doesn't want to go on. i was thinking it could be the cool weather that's keeping the tube hard and inhibiting it so how can i warm it up w/o fire becousse of t

hi,my qt50 was not running well, so i decided to clean it, i noticed where the spring seat should be was what looks like a washer cut to a "c" shape. so went to get a spring seat from a parts carb. to replace it and i noticed the parts carb. had a 2.0 throttle valve? so far the only difference in the 4.0 has a funnel on the inside and the 2.0 is flat( sorry no pics my camera is out). m

hi,the last time i started the ped was a few weeks ago,tonight i went to check on it and to start up. i noticed a gas leak under the carb area and i realized i left the petcock on. i tried to start it up but when ever i depressed the choke and peddled to get it started it squirted gas out of the lower part of the muffler (the vlx has a 2 part muffler where its hinged so the muffler can pivot whe

heywell here is the story, my moby wasn't working because i went through a harsh rain. so i went to mwh and they fixed the problem w/ new points,(great guys by the way) then in all my brilliance i decided to try and change the tail light bulb, because it would only turn on when i hit the break and the steady light would not turn on. for some reason i could not get the bulb out of the socket

hi,does anyone know what condensor specifically auto zone sells to replace the condenser on a motobecane externally. i know mabecane suggest this" Borg Warner condenser part number: G126 " but i called autozone they say they dont have it.thanks

hi.i went to the moped warehouse , great guys by the way, the points needed replacing. so after that replacement and and setting the timing correctly ( the timing was off before) the ped is running as strong as ever.thank you

hi,my 78 motobecane vlx after rain does not start, when i try to start it seems like it wants to start, but does not. the light turns on, does that mean the electric is good and thats not the problem? anyway your answers on how to get it back on the road will be appreciated.thank you

i have a 78 50vlxit only happened twice so far , when i ride i keep my feet on the peddles and out of nowhere it feels like the peddles have some force, like they want to turn on their own. the last time it happened it was two sudden burst then it stopped the same way it came.does anyone know what this can be?thank you

hii was looking at the motobecane gas tank and saw it said for .6 gallons you need 3 oz oil is this correct i thought its was around 4 oz for every gallon? what is correct?thanks

hi,so far so good the new condenser seems to be doing its job, plus i found the spark plug wire always coming loose so i taped that as well, it must be those repairs and the cool weather cause its driving greatthanks for your help
