Read up on vespa dellorto sha carburetors, and when you have time peruse the epic vespa thread. The metal mesh filter and air box enriches the fuel mix. Also, the cooling fin/tin above the cylinder is necessary as well.For timing theres normally slight adjustment on the stator plate to adjust timing and point gap, but more problematic is relying on the small woodruff key to hold timing instead of

If your squeelning is a whine then its just gear noise on the tranny side. I toss that injection pump and always check out your clutches 1/2.

Thanks for going thru the steps a few times before posting, carb clean, ensuring fuel flow, squirting gas down plug, checking float bowl etc.Ok, fires w gas, float full, jets clean.Next is reeds, no light poking thru looking from bottom. Then its crank seals. Two of them. The case needs to be airtight to suck up fuel to boom boom area.

The ramps on a pa50ii ramp plate are more aggressive thus giving more variation. A stock Pa50i plate only lets the belt go up halfway on the cheeks.Have you read the honda wiki?

The difference between the 254 n 255 motor is theres a 3rd transfer on the 255.Count our sprocket gears.

Might of blown off crankseal, variator side. Id replace both but look under clutch bell first.

Nah its your ouput shaft sliding too far in/out and or your pulley nut backing way out. Read the wiki on how to rebuild. This just happened to another vespa albeit a little different where the pulley rubs the subframe.

Spitting fuel on a pp is norml, the airbox n screens will mke it run richer. Say 2-5 jet sizes.So if your choke and fuel float / fuel needle normal functioning then somebody might have drilled the main jet. Look up stock size.

May not be engine related. Check that your rear hub brake plate stop is slotted in the swing arm.If you took the rear wheel off then that hub has to be aligned properly.

You can get a cheap standard wrench from hd and grind it accordingly to fit for that freewheel nut.

Keep fixing air leaks, or put the 68 main jet back in. The air filter screen and box affects jetting as well. Is yours auto oil injection?
