So the basic idea is line up the wheels. Front to middle of forks. Rear, use sprockets aka chain to line up.Now imagine/fabricate correct length spacers/washers to fill in the rest so that you can tighten everything tight without binding.

Its a gurtner carb, take a look at myrons moped page for inner workings.$4 dollars in gas/oil, its a two stroke, dont forget to premix. That should get you down the road a million times.

So to be blunt, we are moped cheerleaders but expect some sort of self suffiency in reading/searching/ pondering and wrenching.Like Nike says, just do it' and post pictures when your stuck. Or try n sell it and buy a near runner after reading how to buy your first moped tutorial.

No to the flimsy spring thing, just the rings. Take a read on gaping your rings, hone cylinder, and milling your head, i see scratches.

Maybe your float/float needle/needle seat is sticky from the varnish. That would explain flooding(stuck open) and lean running away( stuck closed).

There could be a host of issues. But if your plug is super oily then its a rich condition. Might just need a new plug

He means woodruff key. Its a moonshaped metal wedge that helps align the magneto/dizzy on the crankshaft. Important for stock timing.Try squirting some premix in the plug hole. Run?

Do you have the cup washer n spring on the outside of the cover?The peanut clip needs to grab a little bit on the shaft and not just spin.

Grab the threads with angle pliers/ side cuts/dykes, put a paint stick/piece of wood to protect your cases and wack the end of the pliers to pry out the seal. Leverage. Screw looks rather thick. Fine thread drywall screws work.

Do you meam variator weights/roller into the variator? Just make a variator sandwich n then slide sandwich onto bell.
