This derbi saw better days. Working slow and carefully on cleaning this thing up. I swear it will run again one day.

Internal shaft pedaling sucks. Sachs cause they're heavy and have a ton of shit to move on the inside, minarelli cause the gearing is so effing low

buy one and run the snot out of it in the spring, summer, and fall. In winter, just bike. I commuted to downtown by bike for years in the winter. Just buy a beater bike so you can use the bike paths. The city keeps them pretty clear and you'll also have at least some buffer from the cars.

I've applied for new titles on all my bikes in MN and have never been asked to do the bonded title thing. Follow Stephen Keller's advice that's definitely the way to go.Another good spot is the AAA in St Louis Park. If you have all the right paperwork from above, they have no questions.

Wait wait, dumb question from my guesstimating mind, doesn't the oil/intake cool the cylinder and the head acts as the heat sink for the leftover combustion?Makes sense to me if the big boi heads pull heat off the fan delete engines as much as maitland says.If this dumb idea works like I think then even though the fins are super far away they will create a bigger heat sink to draw the heat fu

Just an FYI for people with airfare to this rally, make sure you call the airline/booking site before you cancel! If you make the decision to cancel without contacting the company you will be throwing your money away. Many airlines are offering vouchers or giving some relief but you have to contact them/your booking site to work out the deal.

Myron's linkI bet you have the same setup as mine. Odyssey had the single speed drive in front. Go to the Myron's link and scroll down to "disk clutch".This should help visualize what was there anyway.

Not super rare but definitely a nice bike for someone who wants it. One of the all time comfiest mopeds I've ever ridden for sure. Looks relatively clean and has all the cool stuff still attached (tank rack, <3).If you want to sell and someone wants to pay that price, go for it!

Like the title says, looking for a good condition 10mm Bing for the tiny solo intake. Complete would be good but mostly need the body.

Spring mount will be your friend. There's been a couple threads on it if you search right. I'd link some but on mobile.

Not a build but I finally have a garage space I can call my own and have been slowly unpacking and getting things set up. I've got the swinger just about ready for the season and have put some projects on deck. Stoked!

I've gone the muriatic acid and evaporust route and, if you can swing the cost, evaporust is the way to go. I'm not saying acid doesn't work but the cleanup of the tank and chemicals after is a total pain.My experiences we're with an internal tank ped, so I've not tried the bbs or small nuts trick for really nasty tanks.
