I'm familiar with Cimatti's. Shanks built and raffled off this sick city bike last year at our rally. I was just wondering if there really aren't any of these particular Baretta models out there or if anyone else is holding one in the depths of their dungeons, just curious.
I bought it to use the frame for a franken build, not realizing it was a mini moped. The wheels are cool but not sure if the front one is good. it is most definitely ROUGH
I bought this Baretta Mini City the other day for $30 from a fella in the woods. I tried finding info on it but, I guess there is only 1 known other of this model, which got top tanked and dubbed "The Mini Gun.....can anyone confirm that was the only known one???The tank is beyond repair and the Morini is possibly a paperweight, I haven't dug into it yet.
fyi. you can fit 6 hot pockets in that bag comfortably
everywhere in Austin charges for air. I've yet to see a free pump, but I have seen in some of the newer pumps that accept cards, there is a digital display you can set the max tire pressure on and not go past that psi. pretty cool imo
shhhhh Ray! don' let the prospecccs know. Jansen, sorry bud but it don't work like that.... we only accept prospects if we can hang and ride together for awhile before one of us brings it to the club to sponsor that person as a prospect, then we vote to decide. After an acceptable time of prospecting, a prospect's sponsor will again bring it to the club to make a person a member,
Happy Shanksgiving!there isn't any food in these pictures but we ate a lot of tacos
Yo come win a real Texas moped then Brent! From one Brent to another Brent from a Brent- Brent
are those cases matched to anything?
the threading on my grimecas for my free wheel is jacked up. so i need a new one!
do you have any spare rear hubs? i bought a set of wheels from you a while ago and the threading for the free wheel on it went bad...any way i need a hub!
^this?!?!?! i'm in the same situation kinda i just need a rear hub but at this price i'd buy a set if just the hub fit a puch mag
Hmmm stock clutch un-lightened kick springs 70 k star boss. this makes me think i reassembled wrong hmmmm
Thanks for the knowledge ken i just went and tried my screws at flush like that guy further up said and couldnt get it to grab at all
dang! did you figure this out i'm having the same issue.. with pretty much the same setup
correction, after doing some measuring i realized its the airsal 60cc cylinder not the 65cc so maybe i will upgrade to 70 and try and rebore this one as a spare
does 5 cc really make that much of a difference? cuz i'm not paying 200 for a 80cc top end and 70cc doesn't really seem worth retuning my bike for an extra few miles an hour. i already go about 43 or so stock gearing. i just ride it to work and back maybe 15 mi. ride round trip. so i don't need it too racey. treats says they're out of 65cc airsals (which is what i bought the bi
thanks for the advice ken but no, i'm pretty sure it wasn't from over heating I've been running the same jet and timing for a year and never had a problem. it looks more like my piston ring caught on one of the ports and took a small chip out of it right on the corner of the cylinder wall and the port hole. my piston is screwed up beyond use, but would it be possible to try and smoo
so finally got around to take my top end apart to look at that turns out my piston smashed into the cylinder wall blaaaaaah. so i'm looking for a new kit
i cleaned my carb last week when i put that new air filter on
Well i'm back to the ignition coil theory i rode it for awhile and then it died again after it was warmed up this time slowly as it went back down to idle
so i got to start and idle for awhile just had to keep trying with the throttle open i got baked and kept trying and it worked
so i have good spark my condenser looks alright. i did notice that my kill button wire had a pinch in it. could that be whats keeping it from starting, like the red button is forever pressed?
yes i've read through fred's guide a bunch i've checked most of the basic stuff ignition coil seems like a likely answer i'll check that out. it will turn over just wont fire up. i rode down the block trying to pedal start it when it first died and seemed like it wanted to start thats why i assumed it was just low gas. thanks for all the answers keep em coming!
Could an exhaust leak cause it? cuz i got a broken exhaust stud so i'm rollin with only one holding my pipe its a little louder but i didnt think it would cause problems till i got it fixed. But even still i cant start it to check for air leaks.
so was riding and pulled up to a stop light and my bike died i thought maybe i was low on gas so i put more in. it wouldn't start. then i thought maybe my plug? switched it with a new one still wont start. hmmmmmmm advice? things to look for? i'm newish to this so anything helps. it was running fine for months before this. it would occasionally die when i slowed down to idle at lights bu
just got that white set in the mail. thanks gerrit
has anyone ever used thishttps://www.treatland.tv/original-OEM-tomos-rear-sealed-bearing-axle-165m-p/tomos-rear-axle-165mm-222585.htmtomos axle on rear grimeca snowflakes? i'm thinking about using it so that i might not have to drill out my brake plate and what nots from 11 mm to 12 mm when i do a sealed bearing conversion. i would measure myself to be sure but i ain't got no measuring
