Quick tip: the Encarwi carb takes square bing jets, not regular bing jetsAt some point, you'll probably want a different carb anyway.

How much for just the shock? Any idea if it fits a '78 Express? Looks the same.

$25+shipping for the tank. I'll need to calculate shipping since it's kinda big. I don't know about a fuel gauge but the little round window is in good shape last I checked. Not sure if that's what you're referring to.I'll post a photo of the window and the inside tomorrow. The inside was originally okay with a little bit of peeling varnish, but then I half-assed

I have the Estoril on my A3 and it's great for bottom end, good for top end. It took a little work to mount, though. I think the Boss is normally though of as a top end pipe, but I could be remembering wrong. Check the reviews on treatland for good opinions on various pipes.

Depends how bad they are off and how dirty they are. Watch them with a flashlight while you turn the flywheel. Do they open at all? Do they close at all? Once you check that, do a continuity check to make sure the actual circuit is opening and closing too.

You're more likely to get help if you ask specific questions.Look up the wiring diagram for your model, and look up the repair manual to figure out if you got anything wrong in putting your transmission back together.I have a working headlight from a 1978 model, PM me if you're interested in buying it.

> YES I definitely upjetted to an 88 per the advice already posted on this forum before I put in the k starJust because you upjet to the same jet someone else with a similar setup uses, doesn't mean that you're not still running lean. I'd take 88 as a ballpark and use plug readings and head temps to get it just right. The most common reasons for high temps are lean jetting and

It's not busted, so it's holding some tension.I was thinking of removing the torx screws carefully, then prying the plate and spring off with a long stick so I can keep my distance.

> I'll address reassembly tomorrow as it's now 3am and I have a meeting in the morning.Did anyone else notice that this guy who had been posting for a year stopped posting the same day he declared plans to reassemble the NC50 Spring of Death?RIP Matt Freeman, we hardly knew ye.Anyway, I'm planning to remove my spring tomorrow. Wish me luck. If I perish, I've instructed my

All of the issues mentioned are pretty easily surmountable and don't warrant buying a whole new bottom end in my opinion.Adjust your timing and fix your first gear clutch. Then get one of these and an A3 10mm kit. Or switch to 12mm and get a A35 kit.> It also uses a small pin instead of a woodruff key to fit the magneto slot, which over time can wear a groove in the magneto and alter tim

Sorry man, I sold that with the carb a while back.

Bump. All the stuff I listed as pending has sold, but I still have everything else.

Not sure whoa you mean by "double basket" but I have one of the standard wire frames that goes over the gas tank that I'm selling. Let me know if youre interested. If you're looking for an aftermarket basket, you're not likely to find something advertised as specific to an Express since they're not common bikes. But you could probably modify a bicycle basket to fit.

I'm getting rid of stuff before I move. Some of it's good, some of it's crap. The good stuff is cheap, the crap is free (plus shipping). One man's trash is another man's Encarwi carb.Add shipping to all prices if you can't pick it up in Pittsburgh.I'll powder coat any metal parts black or blue for an extra $15.First photo:- 44mm puch airsal kit (70cc) with pisto

Dunno how many miles I got on the honey bear, I never ran it to empty. I think it was 24oz of gas.I actually ran the hose through the spout on the lid and it formed a perfect seal. But it leaked like one drip per hour through the threads on the lid instead. I guess honey is viscous enough that they can use shitty lids on those bottles without it leaking. Might be fixable with a gasket.> Tri

Here's a couple of random things from around the house that I've used for temporary tanks:I had the paint stripper can on there for months without any problems. Just jb-welded a petcock on it.

I have the 70cc airsal kit (with 10mm wrist pin), a 15.15 Dellorto SHA, 22T rear sprocket and the techno estoril pipe on my A3 and I get 40+mph (64+ kph) with plenty of hill-climbing ability. It's a relatively affordable setup through treatland, but I dunno about shipping to UK.I use a #70 jet and advanced timing. Amsoil at 80:1 will help with cooling given the advanced timing. Probably a go

If the NU50 has the same clutch as the NC50, it's hard to find springs that are much stiffer than stock. The issue was discussed some in this thread. Long story short, you might be better off drilling holes in your clutch shoes (to lighten them) than trying to find stiffer springs. That's assuming NU50 and NC50 have the same clutch.

I lost spark the other day and narrowed the issue down to my ignition coil, which I've been running for a year. I checked my amazon order history to order a new one, only to realize that I accidentally installed a 4-stroke CDI box and coil a year ago. These are the box and coil I have:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003QD704C/https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0058KVQY6/
