After fiddling with the clutch and timing I got it to start right up... But after letting it run at full throttle for about 30 seconds and hearing it sound good it just turned right off... I'm not sure if it is due to the exhaust coming loose/off or because of some other reason... Anyone have experience with this? Anything helps.. Thanks!

I forgot to mention that my exahust doesn't screw all the way into the exhaust port because the threads are messed up and is temporarily glued in poorly.. Could it be that there isn't enough suction to get the engine to a fast enough speed to engange the clutch or should I be able to start without the exhauast on?

Hey everyone, soo just when I thought I had everything perfect; it seems i was wrong. Anyway, here's the issue: I have a 1977 moby. The started clutch seems to be slipping. I'm not exactly sure yet if that is the only problem or is the problem because I haven't opened her up yet. Although after reading a few posts on here and the mabecane site it seems to be the issue. I was looking through some stuff and I was wondering if there are any easy modifications i can do to get a little more power out of it how much they would give me power wise? Exhaust and new carb? Anything that doesn't cost money? I don't really want to kit it or bore it out. Anything helps. Thanks!
