here is a pic of my AV10.It can go on any variating moby as far as I can tell.it mounts at a slightly different angle, so it may need a different exhaust

The AV7 is the engine that came installed on most 60s motobecane moped. (AV88 is a moped model, and not an engine parts number)It is very similar to a "moby" engine that came on all 40, and 50 series engines throughtout the 70s.they are both piston ported, and can share many parts. The AV10 is a reedvalve engine that came on the 51 mopeds.Mine says MBK 62110 2 B 49.9cc 512I do not know t

I just got an Autisa Cylinder kit for AV7 type Engine.the AV7 is the 60s version of the "moby" engine, and compatible completely with all 70s "moby" engines. (So far as I can tell)for example, I just put a AV7 stator plate on a 70s engine with the AV7 head...I took these pictures of the Autisa 50cc kit, and it appears to me to be based on the "moby" B type engine. if you actually look inside the muffler you will see where the little pipe goes.Cheers!
Dan Adams (50:1) — 17 years ago
Ohhhhh.that pipe looks SASSY.That is the only replacement moby pipe I would use, that is if someone says it is good, and it does not scape the ground, or any other reason.

Maybe your clutch is not letting go, if you idle well with the bike on the kickstand, it coould be this.I had this problem before, everytime I came to a stop, the bike would stall. it was staying in gear, so when the back tire was not allowed to move, the engine could not turn over

Dan Adams (50:1) — 17 years ago

Thems fightin' words.I would be embarrassed to be seen sitting near one of those bikes.and I do not embarrass easily.I think any notion of trying to make a moped look fast or tough is absurd.you can take the peds off a mo, but you can't take the mojo from the pedho.

I have found this out60s variator model front sprocket 12 teeth rear sprocket 48 teeth70s 50v front sprocket 11 teeth rear sprocket 54 teeth70s 50 front sprocket 11 teeth* rear sprocket 44 teethI am do not have a 50 front sprocket, I just think they are the same as 50vSo if you want to play around with gearing, it is good to have a 60s junker around.

Yeah, I had a hell of a time unsticking it, and the cylinder walls are completely corroded. But the bottom end seems solid, and spins quietly. That dellorto fits perfectly, I assumed it would be a Gurtner. I was surprised to wipe the grease off and Find "dellorto" written there.Bret, can you tell the year from the engine stamp?
