i ran out twice(well needed reserve anyway) and i ride my ped to work 5 days a week so i fill it up on monday and wednesday if i need to go other places i will just fill it before doing so, also you can just look in the tank and see if you need gas

i was wondering if any jawa owners put 17" tires on the stock rims was there any problem fitting the rim or rubbing the fenders"is there any performance issues with a larger tire (i.e Speed decrease)im thinking of buying some new tires and my local motorcycle shop has some 2.25x17 tires for 20 bucks

yeah the day before i hit a pretty big pot hole but it felt fine guess it just took time to take its toll on the bike its running good now that i replaced the wheel

So this happenedI took of the 51t gear and swapped it with the 35t that was on the replacement gear should i hav tried the 35t? i know nothing about gearing so it goes 34mph with the 51 would the 35 make it faster or slower?

so i just got finished fixing my ped after trying to tighten the chain it was having trouble moving this is what i found when i took off the wheel. luckily i had another rim it had a smaller sprocket easily swapped plus i had another brake drum due to the other was all scarred up

I ordered a pair myself, had to hack my chain guard but i like them.still trying to find the right setting to get them to the right stiffness i rode them to work today and on hard bumps i still felt soft
