the choke cable has a housing that is threaded to the carb
howd did u stick the screw driver in , can you explain this process in more detail?
every time i take the carb off , i always find fuel in the bowl, ive cleaned the jets and needle, held them up to the light and there perfect, could this be a carbon buildup problem??
if u follow the choke line, u will find that it conects to the carb, unscrew the top of were it conects and u will see a drum /jet looking objects, take a pair of nedle nose pliers and pull it out, its not threaded, the once you pull it out you will see a slot in it where the choke cable slides in, slide it in and carefully put the plug back in, makeing sure that the cable doesnt fall out again
how would i remove carbon buildup from an exhuast i read something about just craming a screwdriver in the end, wouldnt this ruin the muffler internals?
i sprayed the passes multiple times and all of the jets are perfect.
fix a flat is bad, on a tire of that size, i tried is on a bike tire, of almost the same size and part the tire trippled in size, making the tire too big to spin, the fa50 has a open arm design so it might work
there are two fuel lines that come from the tank ,they go through the chassis. those then feed into a fuel shutoff switch / valve mechanism then they leave the valve and goto the carb
ive never touched the timing also there are no breakers points, my 84 fa50 uses a pei box
Ive cleaned the carb alredy everything!! its sat in cleaning fluid for hours on end, everything is clean , also spark is very good, big blue bright, also is a new ngk plug
Hello,My FA50 will not run right. I have gone completely through the fuel system, so everything has been cleaned and reinstalled. The scooter is extremely hard to start, and when we finally get it running (with the assistance of starting fluid) it doesn't have much power. There is plenty of fuel in the carb, and the float and needle valve are functioning correctly. THe jet is clean as wel
if it was the size of a sprk plug then wouldnt u be able to buy a bolt to plug it?and jb weld that in, also would jb weld melt under exhuast temps?
Eureka!!the black yellow wire going to teh cdi can be spliced and conected to the coil, i now have spark. and it is good
My friend and I are trying to figure our where the black wire w/ yellow stripe that comes off of the ignition coil goes. When we received the moped, the above wire was cut, and ground to the chassis. THis does not seem correct.I looked in the manual, but I still can not determine where this wire goes. There is a whole in the chassis where it looks like the wire can be fished through, but I am unsur
