its most likely not the timing.. of course dont hesitate to make sure its right, but like it said in previous posts.. rebuild that carb.. clean it out.. get an inline filter.. remove the screen.. etc etc.. and read up on how to tune your bike..
dude like i said before stop messing with thes bullshit clutches and BUY A MF'n METRAKIT PERFORMANCE CLUTCHI was able to keep up to top speed with a metra 80 magnum built by rodney at treats and i was on a kstar maxi.. Rodney and david from treats saw this clutch today and they were surprised how well the kstar was blasting.. im telling you if this clutch was in a larger kit it would be mf

the snowflakes arent garbage they are just not ideal for your setup.. trade someone on here for some spokes.. or sell them and use the money towards a wheelset from treats...

try 100+ my polini was using a 120 but on a 19mm.. you should just read up on how to tune your carb.. everyone's setup is different.. your environment matters too.. im sure crazy wayne will give you some smart ass remark.. ignore him.. i understand where your at.. there are some really good tutorials on here on how to tune your carb with plug chops.. check it out..

yes and they suck at throwing light on the road, but if you have a low output light coil found on the internal hpi cdi then you can only run LEDs..projector bulbs are where its at..

i never sized my polini but i heard its easy.. probably not the best idea to go straight into such an expensive kit without first learning to tune a kstar..if i were you i would first run a kstar kit on your za50, but if you do infact go all out make sure you dont rush the build.. and there is lots of information on polini setups.. its one of the most popular kits.. keep searching..
take your clip and go standard.. second from top.. dont mess with the needle..what polini is 70cc for a puch?also what size carb are you running?what pipe, what reeds..give me more information on your setup otherwise i cant really help you..could be alot of shit right now..
i am using a 170 main jet on my reed za50... but what reeds are you running, what intake, what filter, etc..i agree just learn to tune this yourself, but i also can understand your looking for a good starting point so you dont spend too much on jets..good luck man and dont let these guys get you down.. their just being dicks.. sift through the bs and you will find what your looking for
a cdi will cure a bad wire, bad coil, bad points, bad condenser, bad magneto.. because it replaces all of that shit.. lol.. so just buy a cap and a spark plug and be done with it..treatland.tvor1977mopeds.comfix your points if you want and get mad respect and feel great or be new school take the easy way out..
i only post the video to help get this bike running... once running he can fiddle with getting it perfect..at this point if he cant get it running i'd just suggest getting a cdi kit and forget about it.. some people will never figure it out..
nope magnum forks are taller then the head tube on a freespirit i believe.. my maxi forks fit fine on my cobra, but my magnum forks needed to stack two top race lock nuts and there is still wobble..

bad ground, loose wire in the cap or coil, points have pits, bad plug, bad cap, not timed right, bad condenser..just buy a cdi and forget about it.. or learn to figure out whats wrong with your electrical system using the wiki
i havent had to use the puller.. and yes the clutch works great.. i love it.. i really want to use it with a larger kit though.. im running it on a kstar with a 19phbg, but i think it would be tits on a gila kit with an internal rotor cdireally to me thats the real test for this clutch.. its indestructible imo and this could be the clutch answer for the gila..YES it MF'n bolts in no problem o
