got mine going recently. hero/korado head/ 19mm phbg and mlm hero pipe. Runs really strong. Does a weird 4 stroke when it's coming on and off the needle (still fiddling with the needle position). Timing set at full clock on the stator plate. Seems from all the reading that would be no enough timing but light show 20 and retards to 16 at full throttle. Love this kit.

speaking of gearing. I've seen members say they preferred running lower gearing with the same ratio. Is it noticeable to run (assuming sprocket selection isn't an issue) 10-30 over 15-45? or will the motor not notice the difference?

what rods do you recommend with that kit? I have the flux coated rods I bought (thinking the yellow tank would work), would those be ok in an exhaust application?

look on your throttle it should say who makes it, mine is made by domino. If youre missing a critical part of an assembly it may just be easier to replace the whole thing. Place an WTB ad in the buy / sell, someone might have one floating around. There is also brand new units at treats.
