Just came across this post on Facebook, pretty neat sleeve cutting: https://www.facebook.com/groups/671081149638729/permalink/2026828494063981/Keep us updated on the project and if you can, do a Dyno run or a video of it on the road.Is there any reason you didn't want to do a water cooled cylinder and head instead of air cooled?
Did you use a mill with a boring bar or a lathe to do the sleeve? What clearance did you use in relation to your piston diameter?
Seems like it's going to be tough to match the acid etched areas with the transfer/exhaust windows located exactly. You almost need to cut the sleeve windows after marking them on the inside, then cast the cylinder with the transfers/exhaust undersized, press the sleeve in, then blend the aluminum to match the port windows on the sleeve. It would be awesome to have the port windows on the sleev

Most of the kits on the market for puch will have the edge of the piston crown even with the deck of the cylinder at TDC with a thin base gasket. I usually set squish with the cut of the head along with the thickness of head gasket.45mm stroke crank would be sweet with this kit but in the meantime try it out with either:A) a shorter piston and countersunk headB) a base spacer and countersunk headY
I want to make that cylinder with a gila style reed block in 45mm and watercooled.
