so recently ive become re-obsessed with mb5s and wish i hadnt sold mine. ive decided that if the right deal comes along i will trade you my magnum. i have a lot of money into my magnum so im looking for a pretty minty mb5 or possibly another really cool small motorcycle.magnum has:-clubmins, new grips, new cables, new killswitch-trail tech VAPOR (the 125$ one)-magnum ebrs-hutchinson gp1s with app
Tate, I want it. Let me see if I've got anything worthy to trade and ill get back to you. How much are you looking for cash wise? Also did you ever send that maxi title?
Ah alright, never knew that. Thanks
Alright, so I was timing my treats cdi and I noticed something weird. When I use my timing light, I can see it firing where its supposed to be, but I can also see my T and F marks at exactly 180 degrees. It's running pretty well though, and I assume if it for some reason sparked every 180 degrees it would run like Shit. Could it maybe be my timing light? It's a 17 dollar harbor freight o
its weird though, the teeth look fine, not worn or anything. oh well i guess its time for a new one
shit the link to that chain didnt work, try this:chain?
alright, so i got around to putting the drive chain on the moped im building yesterday, and for some reason, it wont fit right. its THIS CHAIN right here, and im 98% sure its a puch sprocket. i dont know if i bought the wrong chain, or if the sprocket spacing is off or something. you can see what im talking about in the picture below. has anyone else had this problem? if youve got any solutions l
i need a lovingly used puch gila piston if anyone has one. checking here before i have to buy it new. i dont need rings or clips or pin or anything but if you have em ill take em i guess.also if you have puch pedal arms i will probably buy them too
i didnt have any problems with headset bearings when putting them on a maxi, i just used the ball bearings that came with the maxi headset that they sell on treats and it worked fine
chocolate covered bacon is fucking delicious
i meant the cutout thing on the piston is bigger than it normally would be, not port*
when this happened to me, i just used a tile cutting bit for my dremel i think. the same bit i use for everything. worked fine. http://www.widgetsupply.com/page/WS/PROD/dremel-tile-grout/BLW101only thing though is that after you grind away enough material so its not blocking the port opening anymore, is that then the port on the piston is bigger than it normally would be if it were placed in the r
i should have made a bracket, but i jb welded the sensor onto the brake hub. thats the only part of my vapor that seems to be working correctly
isnt it supposed to light up? or do you mean those little red and yellow warning lights on top too? i have my power wire straight into my ignition wire from the cdi, and then the ground wire grounded to the frame, and it seems to light up normally. although i cant get the tach to work correctly and the spark plug temp gauge just broke. yay.
alright, thanks. just wondering if this was a normal thing or what
woah, i didnt even know there were chinese clone kits of these. i sure hope its not one of those, i bought it from a guy who said it was a polini. do the actual polini cylinders/pistons say polini anywhere on them?
i was reading that since puch polinis have those boost ports on the intake side, you have to make sure theyre lined up with the cylinder when you put the cylinder on. strange thing is though, that when i do this, mine dont seem to line up exact like they should.its kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but the circled section on the piston is noticibly larger than on the left side.!http://img98.
i found these sweet ass rubber o rings at the hardware store that i put on the intake/carb meeting point that work really well. plumbing section i believe
ed, what pipes do you have thatll work on an M1? i have a kinda whack bent proma gp and kinda want something better looking maybe?
also, make sure your timings good, my mopeds with basically the same setup always do that exact same thing until i fix my timing
yea 1977 has a bunch of morini kits. i have a polini for the M1. it has yet to be run but it seems promising so far
awesome. that was exactly waht i needed. thanks
yea yea. im "retarded". i just bought a timing light so i could actually try and do this correctly, and i realized i have no idea how to hook it up. it says i need a battery? but obviously, my moped has no battery. i know theres instruction manuals and probably tutorials and shit online on how to use them, but nothing really specifically for how to use it on a moped. i have an e50 with
That was, uhh... kinda harsh
Yea I know, although I've been using that carb on this lot before and its been a looot better than it is now. I have a 17 del for it but the intake I have for it is retarded, and won't fit without dremeling a lot of cooling fins, also its too small for the carb, and doesn't fit tight at all.Plug gap is like .18
