If you go down, and you will if you race, you'll know why you want leather. CHEAP MONEY
AWESOME ! Now it really makes me want a top tank
At least they're clean pigs.
Moped are not dangerous! It's all the other fucks, that are dangerous!
It started in the 50s, when my dad brought a Velo Solex home from overseas. Only until recently I never knew what we had (as far as a vintage ped), but I have been loving bikes since the mid 60s & have a fairly large & eclectic collection of motorbikes. Mostly 2 strokes. (I can see right now this could end up being an auto biography) After the death of one of my college buds (another stor
The thing I like about Treats is the more you buy, the better the deals get. They always arrive in 2-3 days even though I paid for ground. The first order was here the NEXT day. If he doesn't have what you're looking for in stock, he will accurtatly tell you when it will arrive. Benji IS the Supreme commander of Treats HQ
There may be useful info as to the year, on the CA sticker, just under the seat, on the 4th pic. You may be able to 'back track' from those numbers. I found a ped that had the paperwork in with the tool compartment. Worth a try!
In hindsight, I should have taped. Mopagen; Nice home made cab, by the way.
I've used paint stripper with good results. The one I like best is sold at Auto Zone & it says 'aircraft stripper'. Over the years, I have used several kinds, some with marginal results. It's NOT going to take it all off completely. Depending on how the frame is sanded will determine the final outcome. Here's a pic of a partially complete sand n polish of a Tecno Circu
What would happen if one of those 12v lighting coils was used? You know, the one that Treats sells. Would you also have to change the spark plug coil too?
Looks like it will be a good runner with a couple of cheap parts & some TLC. Yeay!
Got some Treats today & I was so excited about getting started, that I forgot to take some pics of the before shots. They were much worse than the pic I am putting in it's place. It's the grungyest thing I could find. The axle bolt was so frozen I had to heat it to get it to break & the plastic speedo pick up will have to get destroyed. Once cleaned with solvent & rinsed with
Oh Yeah; I was in such a hurry to post, I forgot to mention that I made some block offs so nothing would get damaged on the inside of the cylinder. I will be able to reuse them over & over.
Lets try this!http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3474/3218904427_fcbbbd6267.jpg?v=0!
Hi again peeps. Well this time I thought I'd show a pic of how parts look like after they've been bead blasted. I've always liked to work on stuff that's clean. Even back when I started working on bikes, I never could do anything that looked ratty, though my first ped was kinda ratty. It ran good though. Harbor freight has a nice bead blasting cab, for the money & can be fo
Cody. You don't have to lie or cheat. It's as simple as writing a check or getting a Postal money order for $19 bucks & sending it in with the form that you can download & print right from the DMV. Just fill it out and send, with payment & they send you a new plate. Works every time.
It fits something with a splined shaft. Did you just find them laying around?

Gotta LOVE it! I use a trailer all the time. One that's converted from a kiddie pusher trike, with the front wheel removed. And the other that one of my neighbors gave to me for doing yardwork. I get thumbs up all over town cause I'm beating the system. The hitch was also given to me, from a Honda car linkage from under the hood somewhere.!http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3409/3181937516_
I think Hobbits will be the BIG one, with a few of the more rare ones right behind.
Does somewhere about 3000 hours flying Hang Gliders count?
I think it would be way more cool with an all Carbon frame
Stever, I guess they don't know about the P50. They're real, but don't look like this pic. I've often thought about breaking out one, of mine, for doin a "special" I'm just not ready for a hard tail yet.
