Im pretty sure im running crazy rich. its very slow to take off and im maxing out at like 18 or 20. where would i check air leaks?

So i bought a exspansion chamber for my sachs engine. As soon as i put it on it went slower than stock. so i upjetted and it went even slower. i dont have and airbox or filter. Do i have to down jet?

it is a bing but its jet is different then a bing off of a puch

so i figured out that i need to down jet because up jetting just made it go slower and when i took off the air filter it went alittle faster. But you cant find jets for these carbs. i know where i can get a stock one but it wont go any faster than stock. Any ideas?

I didnt i just kinda winged it. just took a drill bit that was like barely bigger. i fired it up since and seems to work ok.

i got a new exspansion chamber for my sachs 505 and im new at the whole tuneing thing. what do i need to do? i know that i need a air filter or i will run to lean and seiz my piston. and i know to check if your running lean you do the plug chop thing. will i need to up jet? what else?

Generally speaking, if a bike has erratic/random spark and sometimes is sparking at the points but not always, and everything else checks out, does this mean the condensor is bad? or is there something I'm over looking or dont know about yet?thanks

try a new plug too. The other day my bike wouldnt start for shit and I had good spark too but I threw a new plug in and she fired right up

I started my maxi up after re-assembling it and it was kinda hard to start but not too bad. after it was running i noticed it was idleing really fast so i figured it had an air leak. i put the intake gasket on that i had forgotten to put on. now it doesnt start at all. i checked all the basic things: spark, gas running to carb, all that jazz and it checked out. it kicks well after i clean the plug

So I know this is off topic, so save the flaming. i bought it a week ago and the top end was toast. got ahold of a new one, and mounted it up. It runs, but won't idle. It after around 1/4 throttle it won't rev up any higher, but i can hear the slide opening more. It's got a mikuni 21mm carb, and the choke doesn't seem to do anything. i unclogged it, but nothing has changed. I r

so my maxi starts well after sitting for a day then when i ride for about 20 minutes it starts shitting its pants. it seems like it isnt getting enough gas after twenty minutes of riding then finally it just dies like no gas is getting in. then i let it sit for a while and it runs?!?!?!?!? and does this whole dying thingplease helpthanks

so to get this maxi to start i have to pedal my ass of for a while then i hear a kick so i pull the throttle and it explodes and starts. i have to keep the idle going by pulling the throttle a little. when i ride it and come back it will idle by itself but very quickly. then for no reason it dies out and i cant even recover by pulling the throttle to give it more gas. i have good spark, good compr

so i switched out the bing carb on my puch for a nicer one but its the same size and everything. i can get it to idle and it idles very well then for no reason it will just die even when i have the idle going quick. also when you drive it and you open the throttle and then close it slowly when its closed all the way the bike dies again. if you try to open the throttle to bring it back it does and
