I think they may be soft-seized from sitting so long. Sprayed some sea foam/deep creep in there and i'm waiting to see if that helps. How can I access the piston? The front has some sort of cam thing on it.

That reddish orange is so awesome (same color as my Vespa Rally*). I love the way that in the sun it's orange but at dusk it changes to deep red.*When I used to post on the scooterbbs everyone would dis on mopeds all the time. When I posted on the cafe racer forum everyone shit all over scooters and mopeds, and here (some) people hate on scooters. It's kinda funny.I got 2-wheel love. Exc

ohh.... the plot thickens. So this guy is offering me to old hondas for $250. He doesn't know what they are. Of course "they ran when I parked them".I sent him two pics, one of an express and one of a hobbit and asked him which they looked like. His response: "More like the second but i think a little bigger."Man if it's two passports I'm gonna shit.

I have so many scars from pushing vehicles. The worst are vespas because the kick starts are flat and over time get sharpened into a fucking knife. My ciao busted up my leg pretty bad the other night push starting it when it was flooded (I was pretty drunk so I guess you could say I was flooded too).

My ghetto ass lighting set up.I'm not running any wiring on my bike except the mandatory ones so i decided to do this.Gutted my head-light bucket. Moved it to the front fender and bought a $10 bike LED kit at Walmart. Soldered some wires to the inside of the light (had no idea what the hell I was doing just messed around till I found something that works). Then attached it to a toggle switch

205. Re: Shorten teh throttle slide on a ciao?

ethanol — 14 years ago

Sorry, I'm drunk. The part I mean is in the actual throttle assembly at the hand grip. There is a little metal box that has a hole in it for the cable and a screw to hold it in place. Can I shorten that and thus twist the throttle farther?E

Jesus, man, people here are up-tight. It'll work 99.999 times out of 100. Who the hell knows one moped from another? The police won't bother you if you are even making a semblance at being legal. Go for it.

I was wondering if grinding a few mm off the little carb slide piece (that holds the cable) would let me get a little more gas to the engine? Good idea/bad idea/no idea?
