it is actually a fact playing it safe is the most dangerous thing you can do. therefore, whatever you decide is the safer choice is actually the more unsafe choice. don't mess this up or you could be in serious trouble

my bad on suggesting you need cardboard with the clutched er3 on a peugeot, i only saw moby people use that and heard it was the same for all french bikes. in that case, clutch pulleys are serious moped business. don't expect to be able to ride your moped drunk anymore--or in traffic. the polini spring does wonders for acceleration; making the bike really turn some rpms before variating, espe

If you want to get radical, which it sounds like you do, go er3 and clutch pulleyany of the doppler variators "with clutch function" need jacking around with a hunk of cardboard to get started unless you have a kickstarter. not sure how complicated the starting procedure gets with a variotop.basically, if you are ready to go big, if you are ready to pony up the cash for the full doppler

clean clean clean your carb! that will help with the idle. use a bit of mig wire in those passages. when i first was running my DR and had a temp gauge it was getting up ~450 and never siezed. if you do though, the iron cylinder takes it better than almost anything on the market. now my trail tech is long broken so who knows after braking in if the temps went down. either way i ride that WOT all d
