Thank you. Its a reasonable bike but he said it has been sitting for years and it won't start. He mentioned possibly the crankcase issues but he said that's what he was told it was possibly but who knows. It could be possibly a bad carb or jet issue. It could be numerous things wouldn't know until its tore apart and went thru. Are parts available for this moped?

I had a Columbia commuter which was fine for a few month with a solo engine and I'm learning stuff and this was interesting.

He says it ain't start but it turns over and good compression. The guy that owns it said possibly something to do with the crank case issue but I have no idea why he would say that.

Hi, curious is there any air filters that will fit under the side covers of a 79 maxi? I know I could cut the opening but I'm curious if their are any on the market that will fit.Thank you

Hi, need some advise I currently have a 12mm bing carb on my moped and I have a aftermarket exhaust and I upjetted and it runs great. I have a 14mm bing carb and intake I'm going to put on it here shortly. My question is when I put the new carb and intake on what size jet should I use and should I get a hi flow metal air filter for my moped. Thank you in advance.

Moped man sold it got a nice puch Maxi. This dude had an angel for 175.00 but you can't find parts so I didn't buy it.

Good morning! It appears my starter plate is not engaging fully. It wants to turn over but it seems like it's not adjusted right. I put a new clutch cable on and maybe I'm not doing something right. I tried some ideas but it seems not to be catching. It starts sometimes then misses or slips. Could it be the clutch cable not pulled tight enough? But it's tight but I don't hear t

I can pull up on the cable right above the plastic cap then it starts right up. How is it done? How do you take the plastic cap off without breaking it. Thanks guys for helping me out.
