I was at the Mass registry a few weeks ago to register my motorized bicycle (you need to register these as mopeds in Mass) and the lady there told me about them switching from stickers to plates for next year. She told me everything is the same as before except the only change is the plate.

I’m looking for the left plastic side cover for my Sachs Suburban. It’s the long black cover that fits over the carb/air box/chain.

I had no problem fitting mine in the back of my Silverado. If you’re really concerned rent a pickup truck from uhaul or Home Depot...no scratching things up and spending an hour getting it in and out of an SUV.

I would do what the others said with the socket and extension, put it over the pin and wiggle it up and down the best you can....longer the extension the better, leverage is your friend....heat it up too. Whatever the outcome, you’ve gained some very knowledgeable experience because I bet you will never do that again in the future!

I bought this Sachs Suburban and it now resides in western Massachusetts! It’s in pretty good shape but the clutch is stuck engaged so I’ll have to sort that out and it definitely hasn’t run in awhile but the engine is free. Should be a good winter project. First moped I’ve owned so I’ve got some stuff to learn. I’m looking for the missing left side engine cover, air cleaner housing and exhaust
