I swear the epidemic even hit here the place we thought we were safe..
I love thos forum lol. We never know where one topic will take us.
Lol the seat cover I think I'll do later. First have to fix my rear brake cable and lever. And some wiring issues and maybe some side covers. And a estoril exhaust for it because I read those are awesome on these mopeds. Last person who had this one took the restrictions out and its loud as hell. Really loud. I do want to paint them black and will powdercoat them but like the other man said t
Me too that's why I dont know if I should.
Yeah that's what I was thinking.
Theres a lot of work to be done to this moped but it runs.
I got these wheels from moped junkyard a few days ago and I was thinking about painting them black.
I would like some 5 star mags on mine but I cant find any for sale. I need a spoked stock wheel ready to go or a set of ready to mount mags for my bullet. Hard to find since all the rear wheel spoked rims for a3 are sold out on the moped parts online stores.
I'm looking for a rear 16" spoked tomos a3 bullet wheel. Look through online stores and local moped shops and no one has em. Thanks.
Do you have wheels that will fit a tomos a3 and I want that puch kit

I recommend bill Hirsch gas tank sealer to anyone in need of sealing their rusty leaking fuel tank. My leak was horrible and this sealer worked for me.My method was:1. Fill tank about 1/4th with acetone, and shake it every 10 minutes for about a hour.2. drain tank by removing petcock. Rinse out with water a couple times.3. repeat first step.4. repeat second step twice.5. use a hair dryer to dry ou
This is my stock speed right now without any modifications. All I did was clean the carb, cleaned and sealed the gas tank as well as added new 10w30 into the case.Average speed is low because I live up in the hills. It's getting cold here now so I dont know if that affects the speed at all but it must because it was going faster about a month ago when it was warmer. Top speed says 32mph and t
Damn so all I have to do is change the pin and I can put any a35 kit or puch kit?
Mine is a 1991 a3 bullet ts.
I want it like that or faster. How can I tell which a3 I have?
I'm looking to kit my tomos a3 for top speed and acceleration. What's the best setup you guys know for this motor. Which kit, gearing, sprockets, pipe, carb, jets and everything else to make this thing a ripper. This is going to be my winter project. I'm want it to go really fast and maybe even pop wheelies. Thanks.
Added fuel into tank today and rode around for a little while and there is still no leak. Its patched up now from the sealer. Stuff seems to do its job.
The back of the can doesnt say anything about try time or multiple coats. All ot says is that it can be reused at a later time. Meaning it's not like por 15 where you only get a single use out of it if you use the whole thing. Right now it's probably best to let this sit and dry for a while. Drying it with a blow dryer from time to time.
I just hope that leak is sealed. Do you think I should add another coat tomorrow? I got this thing in my bathroom drying up with a space heater next to it
I cant get a really good picture because the flashlight is in the way but this is what it looks like inside. All white and glossy. I'm gonna let it dry for a few days in warmer area before I try it out.Yeah I made a mess, a big mess using this stuff. It's all and around where the gas cap is.
I did have a hair dryer blowing into the gas tank for a while though before it leaving it overnight. Maybe that helped a bit. Hey another thing I want to know is what exhaust should I put on it I was thinking the techno boss pipe with one of those cone air filters on my carb but I have no idea which jet to use I'm gonna go check the tank in a few and see the current results apply another coa
It was 19° here this morning around 5am. So does the freeze dry method actually work lol?
Looks like a piece of a choke slide to me but I never saw that piece in my 85/12/101
I will post pics when its finished. Its snowing out here where Inam right now so it's cold in the garage where the ped is. So it's going to take longer to dry before the next coat. I'm actually thinking of taking a paint brush and applying a coat on the outside after I sand and clean all the rust off on the outside of the tank where I cant reach.
