Col Well — 3 years ago
Forum: Buy + Sell
This customized Hobbit was built with amazing attention to detail. It's a beautiful bike and runs great (fast). I bought it from the man who did the build. It has very low miles on the motor. It's a great bike and deserves a good home. Located in Lawrence KS for pickup only. Asking $1000.Details:1979 Honda HobbitENGINEEngine: Honda PA50IICylinder: Honda 70cc DRCrank: Honda Hobbit Aluminu

3. Is this a genuine Honda logo?

This is an old motorcycle cover that I got at an auction. Does anyone know if this is actually from Honda? And potentially the background on this logo?

4. Identifying carb port

Forum: Repair
This is a Wabron carburetor (bowl removed in photo) off my Honda Hobbit motor. Obviously a replacement. I removed the carb to clean it but when I reinstalled and turned the motor over gas started leaking out of the circled port. I don’t recall anything being connected to it before so I’m not sure if I’m missing something. New bike to me that I’m trying to get started for the first time. Would appr

Yeah the cable is definitely doing it’s job, so I’m going to pull the case off and see what’s wrong. I just don’t really know what to look for.

6. Morini M01- starter won't engage

I finally got my Intramotor Scout running and drove it for about 5 minutes yesterday. When I stopped then tried to restart it I discovered that all of a sudden the starter lever isn't engaging the motor and it won't start, it just feel like it's slipping internally. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the motor to turn over when I pedaled and pulled the lever (cable is tigh

7. Well there's your problem

I'm guessing this is why I'm not getting my new to me Intramotor Gloria Scout to run. I pulled back the curtain (electrical tape) from a previous owner and this is what I found. I've got the wiring diagram but this is still hard to make sense of. The condenser is not pictured as it has been wired (one of the red wire) externally. I'm trying to figure out if I should redo t

Thanks, that makes sense why there’s been a new wire running out of the stator area to it. It is currently loose and so is def missing it’s ground connection. Probably one of my issues.

10. Identifying potential kill switch

I’m hoping to find help identifying the part in my hand and help with how it should be positioned and wired. This is a new bike to me, a “Gloria Intramotor Verona” (according to the badge) I believe a 77. I just bought it from a neighbor and it’s close to starting. As I’m working on it I’m trying to make sure the wiring I inherited is correct and not keeping it from running. It’s definitely been m
