Isn’t it amazing, seconds after I posted, I had a message from a UK supplier, YPVSpares, saying that he has the bush in stock!
Treats told me just a few days ago that the bush to use a 10mm pin in a 12mm piston does not exist. My question to Treats followed by their response.Hi,I have a 1986 Tomos A3 and a 50 cc Airsal kit for a Puch Maxi of a similar era (1980). I would like to fit the Puch kit to my Tomos can you please tell me what I will need apart from a 12mm internal diameter bearing for the wrist pin? I also have a

Have you tried calling DVLA with the frame number and partial number plate information. Just tell them that you bought it without the V5 and they’ll be happy to take £25 from you for a new one.
Thanks for your reply Ryan, my problem was in removing the hub from the wheel as I want to get the wheels powder coated. However, I’ve managed to separate the hub from the wheel now by using a heavier hammer and a bit more force! Thanks for your advice about removing the bearings though, no doubt I’ll be putting it in to practice soon.Paul
Hi Cheetahchrome, you’re right, I used a heavier hammer and both hubs came out. Thanks for your advice.Paul
Hi, Can anyone tell me how to remove the hub from the front and rear alloy wheels of my Puch Maxi? I’m doing this so I can get the wheels powder coated. I’ve removed the six Allen bolts and tentatively given the centre hub a whack with a rubber coated hammer and block of wood. Is there anything else other than dirt and old age stopping the hub from separating from the wheel? I don’t have a manual
If you have seen my earlier post, I have changed the title slightly in the hope of getting the attention of anyone who has a Puch Condor. I am still looking for information to date my bike from the frame number so I can register it here in the UK. It’s either 1986 or 1987 but I need to know which. If you have one please let me know if your frame number is earlier or later than mine and which year
Does anyone on the forum have a Puch Condor? I’m still trying to get a manufacture date for mine so I can register it.
I haven’t found a plate like the ones in the posts, just the frame number stamped onto the frame at the headstock.

It’s dated February 1987 so I guess it’s a sort of proof that the moped was current then. Hi, I just bought a Puch Condor 111 and am looking to get as much information as I can about it so I can register it here in UK. There was no documentation with it but I know it was for the model years 1986/7. 5901526 is the frame number, does anyone know how I can identify this as 1986 or 1987?
