Need everyone's expert advice. I am still working on this Cimatti. Finally, I got it running. Sort of.Here's the thing. I can pedal my tuckus off and then get it going but it doesn't want to seem to idle. I have to give the thing half throttle for it to stay running when I am at a stop. When I let go of the throttle, it instantly dies.If anyone has any thoughts, please chime in

There was no spark. Looked at the switch and it looked okay, yet no spark. I unhooked the g

The wires are a mess. No bulbs in the

what would you suggest on a Minarelli V1 if not a dellorto
Hey Man--Did you ever make that trip to the motorcycle shop to see if any of the needles matched up to the chinese dellorto knock off. I'd love to know if you found anything.
Double:What moped do you have? Did you have to swap out intake manifolds? Or did it bolt up? I have a min V1 and just wondered if it was just a straight bolt on.
Wow:Thanks for commenting. Anyone know if a new manifold is needed? Or if it will bolt up to the ole 14/12 intake?
Nice goin man. Did you hook up to a minarelli v1 engine, and did you have to get a new intake manifold?Al
Does anyone remember where to get the imitation dellorto carbs? I think they were going for 25.00 or so new. Need one for my Cimatti. Thanks.Al
Minor rust in the tank. Rust on crank where the pedal arms should be. No title (of course, I've played run and duck with the Chicago PD often enough). some pitting on the shocks. Just seems to be a pain to find garelli parts. I think some of the avanti stuff might fit. No speedo ( but I don't think they came with speedos until the 80s.) thanks for the reply.
