Alright I finished the wiring today and it’s timed at 1.7mm btdc seems to be running good!

What timing would you recommend? I’m running airsal 45mm, vm20 carb, treats street head, weekends intake, and jammer clutch.

Getting closer to finishing the tomos build, and last minute decided to get the powerdynamo cdi for it. Wanted to ask if anyone has any pointers on the wiring. Any tips would be great! Thanks y’all!

Okay, I’ve read through this a couple times and I’m still a little lost. I have a led tail light I’m putting on my 2000 tomos lx, after reading I was going to do the diodes but idk what kind? Could someone point me in the rite direction? I’d really appreciate it

Who is making the 2nd gear jammer clutch!? I would buy it from you if you made one

So I have my parmakit setting on my a35, I knew the case was going to be to small but wanted to see how bad it would be, it’s smaller margins then I was expecting. Before I split the case and weld some on the outside to build material I wanted to know if my a35 kick start guts would just swap over to an a55 case? If so that would be way easier.

If I’m going through the trouble of making a new harness I’m not going to use my old connecters. And I need the original style connectors because of headlight/ horn/stator/ ect. I can’t change those so they have to stay the same. But it looks like that site might have what I’m looking for!
Tanner Barb — 4 years ago
Okay so I have 2 used harnesses for my tomos lx and am not happy with the quality due to the age of them so I want to make my own, all of witch is easy except I can not find new wire connectors anywhere that match These! Does anyone know where I might be able to find some? Looked at at least 6 web site for auto wiring and can find a ton of connectors but not these. Also if I can find a supply I

Why you gotta put down mopeds lol but yeah I know there just small 2 strokes but considering I’m doing an all out build and running VP racing fuel I feel like the ease of tuning would be great!!!

So in my search for my build I’m debating between a smart carb or a lectron, I had never heard of them before about a month ago and all the research I have done shows them to be pretty great! But I haven’t seen anyone post about it on here so I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with them? They are definitely pricey but if they save on gas, lower edmissions, make about 1hp over conventional

Yes! Perfect. Do you make them?

More so than getting parts from Mexico

When I get home I'll try and find a pic on my old phone if it, rite now I have the engine dropped but if I can't find a old pic of it I'll just take a pic without the engine, that weight is with a empty tank but that's only a couple pounds. And I'll try and make a list of everything I did to it to drop the weight

Yes I understand it will require some work but that’s what I’m looking for, I like top quality. When I do something I need it to be exactly rite and how I want it. Anything less and I won’t be happy. I’ve done a lot of research on all the kits and in my opinion it the cleanest best casting kit out there, I also like that it Italian in keeping with the bike. I was looking at the exhaust you mention

Okay, to start I’m new to the forum I’ll give you a little back story so you know where I come from with this build. I’ve had this bike for 8 yrs, bought it when I was 16 and have just always had it around to tinker with in my spare time in between projects, haven’t messed with it in about 2 year. Got married moved around but now I’m getting it back out and doing the full build I wanted to do but
