Oh I know!!! :-):-) I thought someone had asked if it had been switched off. But yeah sorry that was on a different thread.
My headlight turns on when my bike is kicked over and runs constantly. I think that may have something to do with the way my bike was rewired by it's previous owner.
Yeah I think you're right on! I am going to get back at it tomorrow morning! I honestly, after looking it all over and after sitting thinking about it for a while, think that I made a wiring mistake in the headlight. I'll update tomorrow thanks everyone again for all the tips and information!!!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Interesting...I'll have to take a look at that tomorrow! Thanks for all the tips and help everybody!! :-) :-) :-)
I totally agree!! :-) I don't mess with things that are working fine :) The last thing I want to do is cause myself a problem lol!
Yeah, I have learned a GREAT deal from everyone here and from researching. I really feel like I have a crossed wire somewhere in the headlight that's causing this issue.
Okay got the kill switch, taillight/brake light/switch, and engine running again, but now the headlight is giving me sxxt. It obviously has to have power and ground to work, but when I ground it, getting it to turn on, the engine dies?!?!?! Thoughts?!?!? Thanks again!!
Sadly this particular bike has been simplified slightly, and rewired by the previous owner.
Okay guys got my 2010 Sprint running again, the kill switch working, horn working, taillight/brake light...But now the headlight won't work unless grounded (obviously), but when I ground it, it kills the engine as well?!?!??! I am a NEWB make fun of me but I appreciate all the help and tips, you guys are my only Moped friends :) and any suggestions would be appreciated.
Sorry, yeah I had to they were pretty rough!
Yeah I did have the switch open when I painted the handlebars, could that be part of the issue? Thanks again for the help!
I'm not sure what that is? Or if I do or don't. What's it kook like?
Got my 2010 TOMOS Sprint DEMON SPAWN moped running...But now the headlight is dim, the horn, and kill switch still don't work...Now here's the kicker if I flip the ground switch to on, on the handlebars my lights turn on (brightly), and the horn works, just no kill switch still?!?!?!?!? What the hell is going on here!?!?!?

Could a bad https://www.treatland.tv/tomos-A55-throttle-assembly-with-kill-switch-p/tomos-a55-throttle-with-kill.htm. be causing the issue???
Got my 2010 TOMOS Sprint DEMON SPAWN moped running...But now the headlight and kill switch don't work???
Thanks for the tips guys I just wanted a second opinion! :-)
I have looked on wiki, and it does tell you the flywheel torque (22ft. lbs.), but what is the torque spec for the stator coil bolts??? Thanks for the help and information guys!
Okay thanks for the help, I thought that was how it worked as well but I'm definitely no expert!!
https://www.treatland.tv/original-tomos-A55-OEM-cdi-stator-pickup-p/oem-tomos-cdi-stator-243100.htm. http://www.treatland.tv/tomos-A55-OEM-cdi-box-p/tomos-a55-cdi-box-233729.htm. https://www.treatland.tv/original-OEM-tomos-A55-electric-start-flywheel-p/oem-tomos-a55-flywheel-243101.htm. That's the flywheel, stator and cdi I have. But
It's a 2010 tomos sprint...CDI, Flywheel, stator coil and pickup ignition. It's a 4 wire CDI...does that help, can't seem to ever get photos to post on here properly...
Okay...I have heard so much crap from too many different people about how to replace the stator coil on a tomos a55 kick start engine, and I'd like to get it right so...How do you set the timing if the stator coil/plate you get to replace your stock one has no timing mark???? I have heard that there was suppose to be a mark somewhere on the edge of the stator plate that was supposed to be lin
No I didn't know there was...Thanks for the information though bud!!
Best way to time a tomos a55 cdi ignition??? The stator I bought has no marks on it so...??
How would one even do that using a battery? What wires would you be attaching it to...I see there's a red, white, black and obviously the brown is ground. Feel like I'm probably just going to end up getting a new coil and cdi though.
I see it but they're 1 piece correct...https://www.treatland.tv/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=OEM-tomos-cdi-stator-243100&CartID=1
And if there isn't then I'll need a new stator?? Do you need a puller to remove the flywheel?
