I'm selling a few mopeds to re-invest some cash into my RV project. I have my Moby listed on ebay:https://www.ebay.com/itm/134116415657?hash=item1f39f618a9:g:qMcAAOSw8ntifVZPText from the eBay listing:Downsizing my moped collection. This Moby has a heavily modified engine. The newly built engine has less than 100 miles. All of the original parts will be included in the sale. The model looks

It’s also good to check that ball bearing on the starter plate. They get flat spots over time which might make it difficult to start. They are easy to swap out though.I just drilled a tiny hole in the back to stick a punch in and popped it out through the front. It uses a 1/4” ball bearing I think.

Wow I never even heard of that 360 cam. That thing does take some amazing/creative video! Do you control how it spins or is it just random? When I saw footage like that in the past I thought it was from a drone or something.I haven't used the chest mount before. I lean forward on my moped so I thought that would cause it to point down too far. Anyone have a sample vid of the chest mount?

What are your setups for moped mounted cameras? Handlebars? Helmet? Does anyone use that long pole kit they sell on ebay for motorcycles?I've mounted my GoPro to the handlebars but the video gets a little boring when you can't see the moped. I'm interested in seeing how people mount them other than on the handlebars or helmet.I made a mount that attaches to the rear rack today but

And since there are some Steam Engines in this thread too, here is one my Grandfather built:He was a machinist at TRW and machined every single piece during his down time. It's pretty much all brass and copper with a walnut base. He must have made it around the 70's or 80's.

I have K52’s on my V1. I rip it through the woods (and also on the road) all the time. I love them.As for road use, I do 55mph on them on pavement no prob! Roffman has witnessed it, Lol.I’ve been meaning to put the fender back on but I’ve been to distracted by other projects to take the time to make a bracket for it.

I have some maxi ebrs in my office waiting on a frame to get painted. They have a headlight, stabilizer and handlebars on them which I don’t have time to disassemble this morning. I threw them on my postage scale to give you a rough estimate. About 10 lbs. 13 oz, with that extra stuff.

Ok here's another update on this V1 flywheel situation. To reiterate a bit, the threads in the center were destroyed so I couldn't use a regular puller to remove the flywheel. I made my own puller that used the fan screws to pull it off. I knew that it bent outward slightly but didn't realize how bad it was.Andy from the Zeros hooked me up with a replacement flywheel (Thanks Andy!)

I traded my 1997 AWD Chevy Astro in with 237,000 miles on it.I sold my 2004 Buick Rainier for like $500 with 276,000 miles on it. It wouldn't pass e-check here anymore so I sold it to someone in a county that didn't need inspections. I think there's only like 2 counties left in Ohio that need inspections and I moved from one to the other Lol.I bought both from family members with ar

Joe K — 3 months ago
Forum: Buy + Sell
I made a shorter/stubbier Doppler Spring mount for my Motobecane AV7 50V so that I could still use the stock center stand (video below). I made a few extra pieces in case anyone else wants one.You will have to re-tune spring and/or variator weights since this will put extra tension on the spring. I swapped to the white spring on mine.I also sprayed them with some etching primer. $20 shipped. Than
