Are you talking about the piece of pipe that is inside the actual muffler?I wanna take off the airbox for sure and the screens and just run a filter, but im not sure about that exhaust because it is a 2 stroke and they make power according to the exhaust correct?Which bike did you do this to?

The only things i know about the motor is that its a 49.9cc 2 stroke

You will most likely get better results without the filter, but running without a filter will soon lead to sucking something up. I say the next best thing to no filter at all for flow would ba a K&N filter

I have a Motobecane Cady and want to find any possible preformance stuff for this, i think its around a 1976 and its a 49.9cc. Anybody know of any websites with performance stuff for this?

I took my carb apart Thursday night when i first got my bike and put it back togetherwhat i thought was correct, and when we ran it it was full throttle all the time, no matter what i did with the cable. Yesterday my dad took it apart and said the throttle slide?(aluminum piece on the end of cable)was upside down and said it runs normal now.
