ELLAK MOLNAR — 1 year ago
Yes I did, I have that my Trans cover is cracked and leaking. I could always use a spare set of Snowflake rims also.

Thank you Nick! I was able to find it with the info you provided... I wasn't able to see it on my iPhone. Now I'm using my laptop and see it. I sent the seller a reply, See what happens. Thanks again Nick. Also would like to Thank Joe for posting the Craigslist sale. I appreciate all the help from everyone.

That’s what I thought also? But couldn’t find it on Craigslist. Might need to narrow down the search to a State or city! I would need a bit more information to contact the seller?

Anyone have a Vespa Variated Rear Trans for sale?
ELLAK MOLNAR — 2 years ago
Lol, no I haven’t come across a potato yet. Grandes have always been known to be over weight and under powered.
ELLAK MOLNAR — 2 years ago
Yes, always. At this point in the game I prefer to keep everything as stock as possible. Only things not stock are the things I mentioned.

During my restore I also split the case and replaced the Cams and bearings as well as Effe Points on each bike. Also replaced front and rear Brake pads and rear Variator shoes, springs and clutch and Clutch springs. On one of the bikes I replaced the rear gears with the upgraded racing gears that seems to give me a faster take off on that one bike, but top speed still remains about the same. Over

I have four Grandes I restored, each one was upgraded to a 43mm kit. I also decided to upgrade each of the four bikes during the restore with brand new 13.13 carbs also. Seems like I get a bit more performance but not sure if its just in my head? I did not Up-Jet the Carbs, Stayed with with they came with. So, I may be losing any of the benefits of using the new 43mm kit and 13.13 carb together? W

Looking to purchase Vespa Grande Internal Engine and light coils.

I have found New 12.12 Carbs for sale on line for as little as $19.00. A 13.13 Carb is going for $70.00. is it really worth the $50.00 cost difference? Would a New 12.12 with a larger Jet create the same effect as a 13.13 carb?
ELLAK MOLNAR — 2 years ago
I have a question? I have been purchasing the bigger 13.13 Carbs from Treats for my Vespa Grandes over the standard 12.12 carbs that bikes originally came with. Looking at the two carbs side by side, I can't really see the difference between the two? What exactly is the difference between the two and is the 13.13 carb actually worth the extra cost? The Body of the two Carbs side by side appea

Final Update. I replaced the "Brake Switch" with a good used one I had left over from past projects. Now, everything is working as it should and I have good working brake lights. Thank you everyone for all the help and invaluable input.

Well, Heres the Brake light verdict. I started working on this Brake light issue again since I'm now off work after a long weekend shift. I went through every wire and everything is exactly where it belongs. Checked all continuity and it was all there. Front headlight & Rear Taillight work as they should. Brake light, not so much? I unscrewed and removed the right brake switch and connect

I wish that was the issue? Everything is hooked up the way it should. I feel the issue I’m having is a possible short somewhere in my forward wire harness? I”ll know more on Monday. I”ll be sure to keep everyone informed on any progress/failures! Please keep the ideas coming, Lord knows I can certainly use them all!
