Check the crank seal behind the belt pulley. On the sprees that seal tends to get blown out of place, especially if your on the original. Good thing is it's cheap and easy to replace.
You don't have to prove anything. But if you claim you have a fast ass moped we'd all like to see it. Nobody is actively hating on you or your build, just we're a sceptical crowd here at Moped Army.If in fact your bike does rip, we wanna know how you did it. Think of it as tough love.
Swagged out my fanny pack. Thanks bro!
Some exploded parts diagrams are dope
That's a slick bike! Post some pics of the fab work. the rear disk and shock setup especially....
I'll take the cdi if it falls through
This is coming out dope. Keep it coming
Sick bikes all of them. I can't believe you got all three in one fowl swoop... Post pics when you start working on them. Pliz
Where you at Richard? Whatcha got to say? lol.
Took it out for a spin yesterday after work. It was sketch as hell but fun and damn this thing guzzles gas. It does like 6 miles per tank ( about a quart)
I want one of these please🙋♂️
I've had this goped since I was 11 years old. Got it for Christmas in 1999 It's not a California but non the less a goped. My mosquito, 40cc, chain drive with a centrifugal clutch does 27mph all stock, never split the cases, dead reliable.
That's for sure and Estoril Its $130 brand new shipped from treats.
I will buy one for f those two shoes if you don't trade them @04audia4
Are you willing to sell the motor? If so how much?
We're starting a moped crew in miami! Great ride today.
Honestly your about at the cranks limit. Sure you can play with the gearing and gain a couple mph but your not gonna see much more top speed than 35. Not with the stock top end anyway. If you do get a kit for it your gonna have to look into upgrading the crank also.My advice, enjoy it for what it is, a 35mph solid runner.
I Wasn't if cutting the pin made your pedals useless. Do you use the pedals on your AD? Is the worm gear still functional without the pin?
Great work. Its cool to see these things get brought back to life.
Good deal dude. Iam glad you got it registered. All i wanna know is when are we riding?!
I have a 19t installed. I initially wanted to put a 20t, went as far as grinding the case and subframe but there is a pressed pin that holds the pedal worm gear the 20t doesn't clear it. I've been thinking about lowering the pin to accommodate the 20t... Maybe in the future if i kit it.
That cradle is the tits. This mb5 is gonna rip. Nice work. Iam subscribed.
Would you have to space the cylinder do would you go about setting that up.
Nice score! Welcome to mopeds.
having to hold the throttle wide open to start it means it's too rich. Check your float level, the air mix screw (or fuel mix screw depending on the carb) be aware, those tires they are dry rotted really bad.
Tight work! That bike looks hella fun... diy electric noped, kudos for making it happen. can we get some footage of you riding it?
Whoa! That suicide shifter is sick. Good job on the swap.
No moped crew in miami. Sometimes I ride with a mini bike group from broward. They schedule rides to wynwood and there abouts and I meet them up. Other than that I ride with one of my buddies or solo. I'am down to ride on weekends usually. I live in country walk. Where do you stay by?
Hey Juan cool to see a fellow mopeder in Miami. As far as the moped market people ask kinda high prices But deals do come up every once in a while. Hitting up Tampa Steve is your best bet to get a running ped at a fair price.
