1. Cylinder head installation

kenny s — 1 year ago
Forum: Repair
On most mopeds i took apart I found sealant all over the head bolt washers. I normally peel it off. I'm wondering what is the professional way of installing a cylinder head once the gaskets are in place and you slide the cylinder head over the studs? Do you just slide on a washer and install the lock washer and nut and torque it or does it really need gasket adhesive?

yea i understand that the bicycle idea is stupid but if you had one of these motors on a moped, it would only cost 100 dollars and you can go 30 mph consistantly. How much does it cost to modify a moped motor to obtain 30 mph consistantly? its probably 350 dollars. I do admit that the bicycle motors have flaws too. The chain gets jammed so you need to read the blogs on how to file the sprocket som

The engine was just serviced and it runs mint. It will eventually need a link taken out of the chain but it works excellent as is. Goes 25 mph. Way less than 1000 miles on the odometer. I switched to the CDI ignition so the lights wiring just need to be plugged into the CDI.

Cylinder diviting has to be on that list. On a serious note I think it just ruins your cylinder though. Also even if you mention something secret, the average mopedder would do it wrong anyway.

Someone mentioned that some sicknesses have been going around for hundreds of years. People are still even catching the chickenpox. So I see covid should be handled 1 of 2 ways. way 1- end all restrictions and let everyone that wants to get sick become sick within the next month.way 2- Have everyone completely quarantine again. shut everything down for a month around the world and covid would end
