Red is running and is EU version of express. And has CA plates. Orange is a potential runner no ppwrk. Located in Chico,CA
Got too many projects and haven’t been able to make headway on this on. Potential runner got airbox and everything just needs some TLC. Tank isn’t rusty. Will delivery in NorCal for fee. Missing rear tail light lens some fuel lines and rear fender. 300$ takes it.
What fuel do people use ?? I see gas with ethanol is bad. So what use 91 at Mobil gas stations ? I don’t have my oil plugged so I use 2 stroke marine but I bought some redline racing oil and I see it’s super thin and prob not ment for a 1978 Honda express. What does it like to run off of that won’t wear seals?
Anyone ever pulled parts off urban express and put them on an NC50 express if so what is compatible? I heard forks .. saddle .. even engine
First comeFirst servedEverything gots to go..Liquidation!No part left behind!!
Rare sighting at a local antique motorcycle or show. I didn’t realize this was a 50. Dang I would have asked more questions.
eBay... and there is a Honda express Facebook page ... or find someone with a 3D printer
guess its just a waiting game. i didn't make copeis of my forms so i dont have any to carry on my person. Lesson Learned.
I sent in for tags about a month ago. Paperwork properly filled out. They cashed my check but I haven’t got plates yet and don’t want to go down there and sit In line for nothing. Any one experience this or what the wait time ? Or suggestions ?Thanks folks.
I almost bought that it’s in clear lake California?? Beware lots of work to be done. That tank is super rusty.
Does anyone have the Manuel?? It’s then U.K./Japanese version of the NC-50 Honda express. I am having trouble with getting juice to rear tail light and need wiring diagram even if it’s in Japanese. I will google translate. Even Honda guys are stretching their head on this one.Don’t wanna spend 80$ for one page in book.
Pretty sure they are semi-impossible to come across. But heard it through moped fam that dry boxes and other containers would work and also be a toolBox for small stuff.
Carb cover ??? Air filter ?? Mirrors ?? Bells and whistles ?? Wire basket ??
DOn't have the knowlege.. but guess gotta start somewhere. I got the manual and a set of tools. Any one know of anyone is the DC/Virgina/Maryland area who works on mopeds???
I got one of these while back. I was told it worked but turns out i got dooped. Buddy who works on em, told me It doesn't have compression. He also said it would cost me a good amount of $ to fix it and or i should just buy another motor. I'm thinking bout doing it myself. What do you think is needed (parts ? or gaskets) Where can i source them???Thanks in advance for advice.
THanks guys.. yeah i had a parts list of what i should get to rebuild it.. but wanted to confirm its the right stuff..http://www.mopedjunkyard.com/23-Tomos-A3-piston-kit_p_1286.htmlhttp://www.mopedjunkyard.com/Crankshaft-seal-17x35x8_p_2236.html
I have an 1989 Tomos A3 no compression in engine. I was told its easier to swap engines then it is to assess and rebuild.
