Hello all,I purchased a Honda express and the owner said he never ran it without a battery. What is needed to run without a battery? Previous owner took it apart and not sure it's all there.Your help is greatly appreciated.Thank you

Tony, what's the basic rule on where to start on the fuel and air screws. I get my Honda running but go and turn the throttle and floods out.Thanks

So did you put the oil injector back and plug it?Got the same carb my problem is that the cable housing will need to be cut down to work.Thank you

Tony, are you sure the carb for a crf50 will work?The only one I am seeing is 32mm not 38mm on the mounting holes.Needing a new carb as well and if this works I will buy it.Thank you

Yes the line coming out the petcock is connected to the carb.

Nice.What carb are you running?For some reason I am not getting any gas to the carb now. Ive cleaned the carb, the petcock works but still no gas to the carb.I capped the tank on the oil line side and on the intake.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank you

On my Honda express I had to go to premix due to tank failure (rust). Getting ready to run the gas line and wanted to see if anyone has used a fuel filter when running premix.I have cleaned majority of the rust our and wanted to make sure no debris gets to the carb.If you have used a fuel filter which one.Thank you for your reply.

Derek do you have a pic on how you ran the full line? Also, you do not have to put any oil in the engine at all if you are going premix.Got a new job and now back to restoring my Expressthank you

Somehow I have lost spark. I had spark before switched all the fuel lines and carb.I will try to find in the am.I might be interested in your carb if I can't get this solved.Thank you for all the input.

Well I don't know what I did wron or what might be the issue.I had a bad float so I picked up a new mikuni carb.Replaced it and went to kickstart and gas came out the muffler? This is a moped off craigslist and was just trying to get it to start. All electrical still works.Pleas help.

Took the tank off and used evaporust to clean the tank. It did a great job!I was rinsing it out and I would fill the oil tank with water and it would end up in the gas tank. Vice versa as well.Is this normal? Do i need a new tank?

Thank you. I will check the wires in the am. This bike only has 1400 miles on it and the plug was missing on the tank.I ordered s new plug and wanted to clean the tank bc there was a little rust inside.I searched wiki and With me being new couldn't find what I was looking for.Any tips on searching in wiki?Thank you again

found the issue and it was the break cable was not hook in right.Not it turns over and found out one of the floats had a few pin hole in it so a new carb is on order.I took the muffler off to inspect and looks good. Any ideas on how to de carbon the muffler?

Ok, when I received the FA 50 it had spark. Now that I drained everything replaced fluids spark plug and new battery. now there is no resistance in the kick start?Did I unplug something? I replaced all new fuel/gas lines and spark plug.Hmm

Thank you for the advice.One more question. Which hose out of the gas tank goes to the reserve on the petcock? Top or bottom? I would assume bottom.Thank you again for the help and will send pics once it is running.Hopefully tonight!

Hello all!I am new here and look forward to being apart of this forum.Picked up a Suzuki FA 50 and noticed a screw is missing on the carb where you connect it to the reed assembly. It doesn't look threaded and want to ask if this is normal.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thank you
