looks like we had the right wiring afterall and the problem was the spark plug. I'm not sure if the spark we've got is even the right one. Does anyone know the correct spark plug for a hobbit?
I am having the exact same problem with my 78' Honda Hobbit.
Hey, my friend and I have been working on a '78 Honda Hobbit we just got. We just put a new engine on it but we can't seem to figure out the wiring at all to get it to spark. In fact, we really don't know what most of the mess of wires does. Does anyone have a diagram of the Hobbit wiring system? I'll take a picture of the wiring (and label the wires) and post it up here so
Thanks, I'll give that a shot after classes and see if it fits in there.
I changed the inner tube from my rear tire on my '03 Kinetic TFR the other day and, after putting the tire back on, realized there was a spring-like piece leftover whose location I could not surmise. Does anyone know what it is or where it goes? The bike runs fine w/o it, but it would be nice to know where it goes anyway. I think it might have something to do with the mechanism that switc
The handlebars to my '03 Kinetic recently broke in half. If anyone has one, I'd be interested in buying it.
I recently purchased myself a lil' hobbit on ebay, but I'll be needing a few parts to get it whole. If anyone has a Hobbit/PA50 headlight, brake cable, or speedo please let me know.I'd also be interested in purchasing old hobbits for parts or restore around the Pennsylvania/Ohio area if anyone has any lying around. You can contact me at Silverflare@gmail.com or just reply to the t
Sorry to hear about the Moby, it must've been tough to see such a fine ped totaled :(600 is a bit too rich for my blood, 400 is about my max spending range. The Ciao does look beautiful, though! Good luck selling it, I'm sure you won't have much trouble!
I'm looking to buy a moped in Pennsylvania. My friend is desperate for a moped and I've been trying to help get him one with no success. I'm located in State College, PA, but can drive up to about 4 hours away to pick one up.I'm also looking for a new moped for myself as an upgrade from the Kinetic I ride. I'd particularly like a Motebecane or Vespa if I can get my han
Brys, I am delivering pitas, not pizzas, so no need for a warmer. A cold pizza would certainly suck, I don't think I'd get any tips, haha.
I just got a job today delivering for a little place called Pita Pit here in State College, PA. The best part is, they said they will let me use my moped to deliver! I start Monday and I can't wait! I'll be delivering on my TFR. She's no Motobecane, but she'll do fine! I will post some pictures once I start!
If you don't get the joke, the joke is on you. That's my philosophy. ;)
Ah cool, I got my other ped registered there before but I wasn't aware they could do titles as well. Thanks!
Nope, made before titles were necessary.
Damn, that's expensive! Thanks, though, looks like that might be my only option.
I live in one of those unfortunate states where a title (and insurance) is required for moped registration. I've looked around online with no luck, most titling places seem to be state-specific. Does anyone know where I could get a title in PA for a moped and how much it might cost? Thanks. -Adam

A pox on you unbelievers! GO EAGLES! If the Eagles win, this area is going to go crazy, especially in downtown Philly. It's going to be awesome!
It's kind of funny how little cops know about mopeds. That's awesome that you told him off, though. Nice going.
Screw those wussy languages. Take Japanese. It's a really interesting language.
I paid $92 for liability insurance in PA from Progressive.
Would this be the book you are referring to?!http://www.makeupkits.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/BOOK27.jpg!
I, too, thought that was a rather hilarious statement but I was too busy laughing to point it out and reply to it.
I speak some German and Japanese. I guess that makes me the axis powers. Heh.
Don, your own words do you more of a disservice than I could ever do myself. :)-Adam
Thanks for the correction, I never knew that before. It will indeed be a good thing to remember for the future. I appreciate the compliment, too. I completely agree with everything you've been saying and I'm glad there's someone else here as frustrated as I am about Dubya and this absurd war. Keep fighting the good fight!
Nothing I haven't seen before, Jim. I know I didn't make the distinctions between the different types of Creationists in my posts, so to elaborate I was mostly referring to YECs although a lot of what I said applies to a good deal of IDs as well.
