that number plate dosen't look very aerodynamic, and those looms on your cables are adding unneccesary weight to the bike, looks sweet otherwise, but remeber when your racing over gratified chainsaws, every little bit helps

actually, ive seen some go-karts that use the sprocket as a disk brake, also seen minibikes that have a sprocket and brake drum in one. finally, my harley, belt drive, has a disk brake built into the pulley, no lube issue, and it works great..
hey will, what the heck is that blue lever in the middle of your bars? it's really bothering me, i would like to knowthanks, btw, sweet ped.
no matter how much you get the air to swirl, once it hits the reed valves it'll straighten out anyway, imo, it's snake oil
yeah i just put some type f i in my tranny ( turns out it was empty...ooops..) any way, holy sh*t, it shifts perfect..we were riding in a pack of 5 peds today, all tomos sprints, and every one of em shifts differently. after putting the type f into my tranny, im blowing everyone away off the line and keeping it that way, for as far as we ride. at the other end of the spectrum we have my friends p
or how about putting a spacer between the techno pipe and the mount..that's what we did to ours, i just put some un-know shocks on my sprint today, and i spaced my bi turbo, and everything is fine, only problem so far is that the centerstand doesnt work anymore, dosent reach the ground
like i said, im pretty sure theire either a honda ct 90 or ct 70, we might be trying to use the fork off of it this week, but with the back shocks, you can get away with alot, almost any dual shock small dirtbike, or motorcycle shocks should fit, i mean theese are a good 8 inches longer and they still work.
when we bought my friends tomos sprint, one of the back shocks were missing, so we went to the dump, and found an old honda dirtbike moped looking device ( ct90 i think) and took the shocks off of that gave the moped about a foot of suspension travel, looks a little wierd, cause the swing arm hangs much lower now, and there's about an 9 inch gap between the top of the tire and the fender. let
does anyone know what number the chain is on a tomos sprint moped, with the a35 engine. ive got a spare motor that im going to be using to power a go-kart, and need to find out what sort of chain, and back sprocket i need to get for it.thanksmartin
do what me and a friend of mine did to his tomos. tie the front wheel to something sturdy...tie it good, tie the back rack to the rack of another moped, floor it. got the forks on his ped good as new, with the power of mopeds
my black piece of crap was working right from the get-go, never had ANY problems with it, and norbert isnt having any problems with it either. he has no reason to kick my ass, we were all out riding last night. i said look trough the pictures to try to help you with your question, and i joke around, no need to get hostile.
i say you just throw that pile of junk in the trash, but the garbage men probably wont take it, gimmie a few bucks, and i'll do you the favor of disposing of it for you.now on a serious note, just go to the photo section and look trough to see what looks like yours, those side covers you circled are missing cause some douchebag took em off, just like they took em off of norb's, and sal
does anyone know if the front wheel from an 1989 trac ( no idea what model) moped will fit the front of a tomas? i know the forks fit, they are on a parts ped we have but the forks are cracked in half..i think the spoked front wheel would look pretty spiffy
thanks alot guys, once it stops snowing, im going to go change my oil
allright, im probably going to get eaten alive for this question, but bear with me, ive only had tomas sprint's for a few weeks * we have 6 of them between 3 friends * anyway. i need to know how do i change the tranny oil, i dont see a fill or drain plug, am im just completely missing it? thanks in advance!! ( the ones that im concerned with are the 94, 99, 97, and 93 sprints)
what would be the best material to make an exhaust gasket out of. i just spent 2 hours welding up a pretty new exhaust, with a muffler, and it's still loud as hell cause it leaks where the headpipe connects to the cylinder. i tried an aluminum gasket, but that didnt help
samz:Yes, i would be able to deliver, like i said over the phone, i can toss the bike in the back of my truck on a friday, or the weekend, and come on down there. As for the cash, im sure that we can come to some sort of agreement. I'm still waiting on that damned title, but as soon as i get it we can work out the specifics.oh, and the clutch, it's a manual clutch, and a 1 down 3 up (4
re:moe's question. there's about 3 miles on the ped, ive literally just taken it around my neigborhood once. and as for the ride, what i dont like about it is the fact that the bars are basically level with the seat, giving it quite a hunched over stance. that and the seat is quite high up. My freet still reach the ground, however, ive ridden fullsize bikes my whole life, and they were d
from what ive read once it's broken in it should do somewheres between 30 and 40 mph. I'm not really pushing it right now since it's still on the break in period, and have only really ridden it once to make sure everything worked like it was supposed to.

i'll get some pictures when i get home from work,it's been raining here, so i havent had a chance to get anything.
actually, 800 or so plus 250 dollars shipping. This bike has a mile or two on it, and has been put together (removed from crate, wheels/fenders/seat/exhaust/battery/handlebars and controls/plus misc. electrical bugs. this has all been taken care of, to give a truly turn key bike) and the price is *negotiable*.
oh, forgot to mention, located in queens, NY
Just testing the waters here, got a brand new 2006 xkeleton trickster (it's just a re-badged madass, it still even says sachs on the air cleaner). I bought it because I liked the way it looked, did't realize that I wouldnt like the ride. Anyways, she's for sale, 1000 bucks, or trade for a ped that's registerable in NY, of simmilar value. dustin: sorry, im looking to get rid of my ped cause i dont ride it anymore, i dont really need the motobecane anymore than i need the tomossywriter: sorry, no title, in ny ownership of peds is transfered trough the registration card ( i dont have one either, but will provide a bill of sale)
blake there's a picture of the ped attached to the first post on this page, however the weekend of the 10th i wont be around.
i dont think ups will ship an entire moped. i know when i shipped a 125 harley frame they made me take it apart, and ship it in 2 seperate boxes, and it came out to something like 70 dollars. i would also have to drain the fuel and oil then, so it would be your responsibility to fill the oil back up, and mix the fuel up. if you would like me to ship i would like a pay-pal payment, just for safety&
