Regarding the Factory bulletin in the wiki on upgrading a Puch from 1.5 to 2hp (http://www.mopedarmy.com/wiki/Puch_horsepower_differences):They call for changing the Throttle slide from #51 to #24 (part # 349 115 015 1/24)What is the physical difference between these two slides?and another side question: what is a healthy compression number for a 1.5hp za50?

I think I have the exact same problem setup as you.the throttle cable is also jammed again the frame right where it comes out of the carb. What did you do about a battery/voltage regulator?I removed the battery mount when i put the kit/carb on to

looking at 50cc.nl and there are only two aftermarket ones listed for the honda camino, proma circuit and proma sil all. Anyone have experience with the sill all? it is 1/3 the price of the circuit. Also, if i put an exhaust on (79pa50II) do i need to change the jetting? Right now it is completely stock. Thanks

i had trouble with my turn signals too, i finally fixed it by completely rewiring them. New signals (mine were pretty busted up) and new wires and bullet connectors.I think it was a combination of old wires and corroded connections, completely redoing it didn't take that long and haven't had any problems since. How did you mount the new headlight bulb, w/o the trim ring and bucket?

Anyone done this?I have no problem drilling out the intake but cant find a fitting small enough to use as the oil nipple. Any ideas? I'd prefer to tap the intake if i can find a small threaded nipple. If someone has a real source for them i wouldn't mind buying a couple.Ideas??

Disassembled a used 14mm bing and it was quite nasty inside, full of white powder and the slide was stuck. . It cleaned up ok with carb cleaned, but the slide/tube that the slide sits in are kinda scratched up and the slide doesn't move freely. How tight does the seal between the slide and slide tube need to be? Can i polish the tube down until the slide moves freely or is the carb junk??

ok looking at the radio shack website those do appear equal to the OEM but now i'm thinking maybe an all-weather version of these would be more appropriate. There must be an automotive/moto version.something like this maybe? ?http://www.painlessperformance.com/webcatalog/largeview.php?SearchField=70406&SearchAll=4x4%20OffRoadRecommendations?
Andrew G — 12 years ago

Do you know of a "local" location (chain automotive stores, etc) that carry OEM style bullet connectors? I'd rather go buy some in person if possible. I already have this kit but am running out of some typesSuch as this: (ones that use a real crimper as opposed to the kind normally found at autozone/advanced auto)http://trailtech.net/crimp_kit.htmlAlso, want to rewire my magum, wh

Hey,Still cant get the baffle out. Took the nut out of the back of the exhaust, separated it at the joint and jammed a broom handle into the end section and nothing budged. I've had the nut off for 2 weeks now hoping that riding it around like that the baffle might come loose but no luck.
