Forum: Performance
I am thinking of buying a 15/15 carb, and a performance exhaust. Probably a Polini maybe a Bullet. (I am thinking of going with a pipe for top end.) And then I was wondering to equal it out maybe gearing it for bottom end just a bit. I would like to hit the 30-35 mark and still have good acceleration. All of this would be on a 77 cimatti city bikeWould this be a good way to go? Does anyone else hav

Justin Brownell — 18 years ago
Forum: Performance
I just moved to Montana and I was wondering if riding in a higher altitude would require using a smaller jet? Has anyone been faced with this problem. It seems like my Moped is riding slower, and I guess im not even sure if jetting would cause that.thanks for the help.Justin

so you saying that I should just get a new/used 14/12 like im using? I need a new carb anyway. (its missing gaskets) So I figured that I would just pay a little extra for a larger carb. (15-15). So I shouldn't do that? I should'nt ge the 15-15?

thanks for all of your feedback. any suggestions on what size to upjet too. Im guessing you can't tell me that unless you know what kind of carb I have. And I can't tell you that see how I don't have the bike yet. I know its a 77 cimatti city bike. if you can't tell me what size should I just buy a size larger or a few, And see how it works.
