Motobecane 50VLA very noticeable in "48 hours" with Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy.Movie filmed in 82, so a 79 VLA is realistic.not long after Eddie is out of jail, there is a scene of vehicles and the Moby just cruises by left to right across an intersection.

I have found these to be a great replacement for 50V grips.yes they are different and these are also designed for the length to be slightly smaller on the throttle, so no overhang crap. And only 12 bucks a pair.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005UGJS16/

wow, Detroit Ave Cycle in Lakewood OH is where I bought my new LeMoped in 1981. Actually my folks purchased it and I was on a re-payment plan. That store was very popular with Moby's in the late 70s. The 2 owners eventually moved 1 city over to Rocky River and ran a bike shop there until about 2005.

I've found these grips fit perfectly on the 7/8" Moby handlebars. No overhang whatsoever, inexpensive, and feel great.Even better, the throttle grip has a very slightly larger opening to slide over the throttle control. The gray is a dead match for OEM grips, and they come in multiple colors.probably the only decent grips (besides the OEM reproductions which are still available) that fit a

that's great you're being treated by a specialist. your numbers look great. Also feel free to spread out the metformin to 1 tablet 4 times per day. once with breakfast, lunch, dinner, then before bed. (I usually have a few peanuts, or a piece of cheese or some other quick small lo carb snack to go with your bedtime pill. My doc said this is a common practice to help with the intestinal d

Larry, get your A1C value and keep it recorded. A1C relates to about a 2-3 month average of all your sugar readings. Fasting numbers like your 93 that you mentioned is just a snapshot.I agree with Don there are advantages to Atkins, but you have to be careful dropping so many carbs so quickly. You can actually lower your insulin production and when you introduce them back into your diet, you can h

Wait for Rebel to comment, but for a quick check, absolutely make sure the grounding strap that is mounted to the engine (along the cross bolt that mounts into the engine mounts) is cleaned off and has good metal to metal connection and the other end is getting good contact as well.

The mag wheels on the Moby 50VLA and LeMoped take a special pad.shaun at Miron's mopeds has this link on his site, but Treats is sold out.https://www.treatland.tv/EBC-brake-shoes-878-p/ebc-brakes-878.htm

Yes, the 6 star mags on the 50VLA and Le Moped usually have a special pad set.Myron's has a great section on brakes with a link to Treatland for the correct type to purchase. But I can tell you from experience, take your breaks out to measure and compare just to be sure.good luck, erniehttp://www.myronsmopeds.com/category/wheel/brakes/

It's ok from the wheel hub to the frame, but then from right to left the cable should go through a hole in middle of the frame, exiting at the hole I've outlined in yellow.Ernie

Have to agree with all. Picked up some great 50V side cover decals, and Shaun offered some great info on Silentblocs over the phone. The info on his site along with Rebel's knowledge has kept my Moby running well.Just a small adjustment to my float needle made all the difference on the finicky Gurtner.

If the outside piece spins, but the inside doesn't, you might have gotten some of that degreaser inside and now the clutch is slipping.if you can get a clutch puller, remove the clutch drum (the inside spinning part) and scuff up the pads a little while cleaning up the inside of the clutch pulley (the outside spinning part).before inserting the clutch puller, you will need to remove the lock

LMAO(at the pic) not the situation.I can take a tax write off for wear and tear on my middle finger after working on my mobys this year. And that's with all of rebel's help as well.
