Sorry chef, but I have threading tools and some metal bars of 8mm diameter..I think that I can make this insert myself without buying anything more..
Andy Paris — 7 years ago
Thank you all guys..At the end of the day I'm going to thread a metal bar to m8 in the outside then drill and thread m6 in the inside.. That's all, without flange dremeling or similar modifications..So I wish it's going to be fine, some locktite or similar and done.

Thank you..But I'm thinking that, with a exhaust that is about 29mm diameter (exhaust thickness included), if I dremel or drill holes for m8 bolts, i'll go into the exhaust intake

Hi guys, I have a little problem with my puch polini kit. The m6 threads on exhaust mount were K.O, so i threaded to m8, and i bored my proma cc holes to 8,5mm. Now I'm going to buy a Simonini exhaust and i don't know if I can drill 8,5mm holes...So, are there any solutions like a M8 stud that finishes with a m6 thread?Or a m8 to m6 bush?Nice evening, thanks

Little update, i finally found an Af1 polini cylinder kit...Aand surprise, the stud pattern isn't so different respect a puch stud pattern.I will try to enlarge/file the holes on the polini and mount it, it seems that it isn't needed any epoxy/welding, just a bit of boring and the spacerThis make me so fuckin happy :D

It doesn't have much space, the only space from the clutch and the plate is a 0,..mm shim, but i can't verify because i have the "old" carters, the first model with only 2 pieces...

I think it's in his place, with the clutch lever on, the flywheel makes a few turns, but not enough to start the engine
Andy Paris — 8 years ago
I'm sure that's a "normal" clutch, because it has the starting material on top..Sorry, im Swiss and i dont know how to say it...

Hi all. i have a little big problem starting my freshly rebuilt puch maxi..I put in my e50 a 3 shoe clutch (surflex), a top racing crank and 170cc of new atf oil. The clutch and the crank are made for working without the woodruff key, so, no woodruff key case..Since i pull the clutch lever, the clutch slips and it doesn't engage..I can't adjust more the clutch cable because if I do, the

Andy Paris — 8 years ago

Andy Paris — 8 years ago
It isn't a bad idea, but, what about tue piston pin? It's a ø12 pin? Or ø10?
Andy Paris — 8 years ago
Just a question, can i put the brake caliper in the mounts existing in the fork (black ebrs, like yours) without welding new ones in the fork?

The problem for me is to move the prisoners so that they are aligned, could you give me a brief explanation? I know threading, just that I do not know how to make a precise and straight work without Cnc mills and professional tools

Do you talk about the sachs 3 speed (3 gang or drei gang)? They're damn rare in Switzerland too, but they're beasts...My dad talked me about a guy of Arosio, in the South of Switzerland, Ticino :) who runs about 120-125 with his sachs and he was caught by the police in the highway heheh
