Ain’t no one wanting to fulfill my dreams 😭
It had no support mount and the foot peg was rendered useless from the baffle resting on it. Otherwise I would’ve left it.
It’s from a Yamaha xs 1100
Thank you! How come California has to be all the way across the damn country.
I’ve been working on this thing because it looks like a turd when I got it,but it was a deal. I plan on selling it when I’m done; I just wanted to bring some new life into it and it’s been fun.Just thought I’d share some photos and see what y’all think so far. Last photo was when I first picked it up.
I want to trade my Puch Cobra for a decent Peugeot TSM, TSA, or Grand Prix. The Cobra is a great bike and it’s fast and clean, but Puchs just don’t bring me joy like Peugeot does.I’ll be at the Zeros Swap Meet in a couple weeks too so let me know if I should bring it.
Finally got the video hosted somewhere, on our Instagram actually, I thought they were gonna pull it but so far so good! I had to cut the end sequence with the Beatles song though. Here’s the link to click! Pour some sugar on me video

It says "Caburation". I can't believe no one caught that before it went to the printer. Anyways, that's just a thing I noticed.
I stopped posting brackets unfortunately. A lot has been going on in life recently and just haven't been able to keep up with it as well as lack of interest. Its just on pause for now.
Yup, that is how it was when I got it actually
Yup, that was my very first moped. A fun bike! Use only what the manual calls for when it comes to transmission oil! Here is mine:
I am in the process of making a March Madness MOPED bracket. Moped friends, please comment your top 5 mopeds (or at least some favorites) with Brand and model. ie: Puch Newport. If it doesn't have an exact model, put whatever model specific engine info with it. ie: Motobecane 50v.The bracket will be posted publicly on my Facebook timeline tonight or tomorrow, I will include the rules and time
The side covers say Monte Carlo, if you zoom in you can see it. Also my shocks are dual on the outside indicating montecarlo as well. As for the paint, I have no idea, but I know it's for sure original. There are not many photos to compare mine to, so I have no idea what the normal color scheme is.
$250, but still having some issues with it running.
From what I can see, the silver is the original paint. It is hard to find any images to compare my bike to on the interwebz.
PM me for stuff. I am in Lakeland.
Through a friend on Facebook I was connected with a guy in south Florida who received a 1986 Vespa Piaggio Si Monte Carlo as payment for a job he was doing. The guy who gave it to him apparently owned some sort of dealership back in the day. This bike is super clean and has 300 miles on it. It was not running when I picked it up. Carb needed to be cleaned, oil injection was capped off, and had to
I'm glad I could give a helping hand!
