I just picked up a G3 with a 505-1B motor and would like to keep it stock with a D top end, or complete motor.Let me know if you have anything? I probably need a bigger carb too! Thanks, Josh
Hi, we're looking for a Sachs G3 in the Ohio area. Let me know what you got, thanks!
I bought a nice used set of panels for my Westlake from Does Cycles a few months ago. Email them, they probably have more. Sunday morning mopeds has a right cover available on their website currently.
http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/5105446890.html I am selling my Moby, tons of upgrades. $600 in Cleve, OH.
Want a complete minarelli v1, not a basket case. Let me know if ya got one and what you are asking for it. Thanks
I would like to buy a used Doppler ER1 if anyone has a one laying around. Let me know your price, thanks!
If you have one, let me know! Thanks, Josh
I just kitted my moby with a 70cc airsal p/c and dellorto 15.15 and would like to compliment it with a g3 pipe. Let me know if you have one to part with. Thanks, Josh
If you would be willing to sell the upgrade parts, I would buy them.
With the clutch I currently have installed it is slow off the line, but gets up to 30. I'd be down for the trade. Let me know?
Possible trades I guess, what do you have?I don't know what ride the pinball is, so no.
Good eye, yes it is a moby clutch. I have the stock clutch but it was pitted inside from rust and engaging all the time. I had a spare moby clutch and it works perfectly.
Cause the front rim was missing when I got it. It had bmx bicycle tires on it when I got it. I do have the original 19" rim for the rear, but no tire and that will go with it. The patina is the best part of this ped.
I of course meant moped not mopee :)
Up for grabs is my 64 Peugeot bb1 moped. I rebuilt the motor with new seals, bearings, NOS peugeot piston and cylinder, new cables, new carb, new coils etc.. Wheels are a conversion from a later pug with 17" rims instead of 19". Wiring complete, but not hooked up, headlight lens is missing and so is tail light. Seat is off a later pug too and is in sweet shape. Runs great, starts easily
For sale is a 60's Velosolex moped. Starts easy, runs great. I also have a spare motor and chrome engine crash guard that goes with it. Missing headlight, tail light not connected but there. Original paint/patina. $400 Cleveland, OHThanks, Josh
need a good stock crank for my motobecane moby. Maybe you upgraded yours and have the spare to sell. Need the bearings to be in good shape.THanks, Josh
That's much better, thanks!
Rebelmoby, is the points gap really .5-.7mm? That seems big!
Thanks for the tip! What is the best way to measure that though? I can find tdc, but how can you measure without a plunger tool? Thanks, Josh
Does 2.5mm btdc mean piston travel or flywheel rotation? Or are they one in the same?
I may go the white wall route, it looks like that is what came factory on them. It has a goofy bmx bicycle rim on the front and an original 19" rim one the rear. I bought a set of 17" rims off a 102 that I am hoping to make work? Also a few more questions. I set the timing to 18deg btdc, is that right? Points are set at .016 and I am running a b6hs plug. Is this setup right?
Leaving it just like it is!
Well, thanks to everyone here I have rebuilt the motor and it's running smooth. I got new bearings/seals from treats along with new cables. I got a NOS piston/cylinder and gasket set from a company in France and a new carb from 1977. I was going to reuse the original carb, but the fuel inlet nipple broke off while I was yanking the fuel line off. Anyway, still have a lot of little things to
