my moped is a 78 puch MKII sport. It runs great, no problems with that. It hits over 30 on flat groun, no problem with that. the problem is that my moped can not tackle hills. any hill slows him way down. id like to keep a lot of the flat ground performance and improve his climbing ability. ANY IDEAS???

It is a great bike, and I learned a lot from birthing it with big help from a great friend, but the bike is better suited for someone who is riding more than I am.Erin, I do not have either items you are looking for.

thanks for the well wishes. and to the louisville rider, there is 2-4 total people that ride together currently. we looked this weekend with no luck. just please continue to keep your eyes peeled for that model in louisville. it was stolen in butchertown, so we were hoping to see it around there. thanks.

from the cincy shop. i felt more comfortable doing that, plus the girl who owns the shop has been awesome to me and showed me the literature originally so obviously i would go through her rather than cut her out. good to support awesome businesses.

i don't think theyre dot, theyve never been sold in the us before they have a rating that starts with a "s" so i think that is some kind of safety rating over there.at 49cc im not too worried. what can i say, im a sucker for appearance.

i just ordered a helmet from SOHO SCOOTERS in newport, KY (monmouth st.) from a japanese (?) company called DAMMTRAX (www.dammtrax.com). really killer prices for very attractive helmets. My helmet that came with goggles(the small john jet street) will only be 65 dollars or so. anyway, the owner hasn't placed the order yet so go check out the site and hop down to get in on this.to check out

I currently own a 78 puch MKII sport. i purchased it from Ike's Bikes last summer and i have been very happy with it. runs flawlessly. starts on the first kick. in good cosmetic condition. just recovered the seat to gray seadoo vinyl (not seen in picture, this is the picture from ike when i purchased it). 70's puch green, a few rust and scruff spots on the frame, chrome is almost comple
