Haven't had any major issues with my Tomos yet other than replacing the brake cables and stuff, but I haven't had it that long either. Exhaust pipe was a little loose the other day, but other than that no issues.

Hit 52.1 MPH on my Tomos ST today, 28x22 gearing, Stock cylinder and piston A35 with techno circuit pipe and #58 carb jet in stock Dellorto carb.Oh and my air filter is an old tube sock.
